As we have seen in the first 5 months of Joe Biden’s illegitimate presidency, his administration is going to blame problems they’ve created on either too many guns, global warming, or racism. In this case, they’re saying that the human sex trafficking trade is a result of systemic racism. How? Why? What? There is no explanation as this is just another word salad of wokeness.
Secretary of State Andrew Blinkin issued a report on human trafficking this week with some puzzling conclusions:
The U.S. Department of State strives to advance around the world the security, prosperity, and values that U.S. citizens share. We know recent events have led our country to grapple with unequal treatment and racism here at home that has reverberated around the world. As a government and society, we strive to correct past wrongs and advance racial equity in the United States and abroad. We commit to bringing this dedication to our efforts to fight human trafficking as well. We will seek to use our year-round engagement with governments, advocates, and the private sector to build a more effective anti-trafficking strategy rooted in equity. This must include coming to terms with our role in having perpetuated violence and dehumanized people, and we must work to right these past wrongs.
If I’m reading that correctly, it is the Biden administration’s position that human trafficking around the world is a result of systemic racism in the United States as well as the fact that democrats used to own slaves. Also, because of this, the Biden administration can’t do anything about human trafficking until they fix racism, which is a nice way of saying they don’t plan to do shit about anything.
In fact:
Systemic discrimination creates inequities between communities, whether the discrimination targets perceptions of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender identity, or any other social identities. It manifests in societal exclusion and prejudices against those communities, which help perpetuate an imbalance of opportunity and support. These inequities undercut our goal of combating human trafficking and embolden traffickers. We have seen, for instance, how deeply held racial biases and stereotypes inappropriately influence outcomes for those in our criminal justice system as they lead to racially disparate assumptions about who is identified as a trafficker and who is identified as a victim. This is not a new truth, but it is a somber, unacceptable reality.
So systemic racism in America emboldens human traffickers? Show your work.
The weirdest part about this incomprehensible argument is that racism is responsible for identifying certain people, presumably non-white people as human traffickers. Basically, Blinkin is saying that it’s racist to identify a black pimp as a pimp.
This report is as long and boring as it is stupid and nonsensical. There is a section that claims to make the link between racism and human trafficking. Spoiler alert, it’s slavery’s fault:
In many ways, the United States and other governments face human trafficking challenges and trends today that reflect the living legacy of the systemic racism and colonization globalized during the transatlantic slave trade through chattel slavery and regional practices of indigenous dispossession. U.S. and global data show human traffickers disproportionately target those in positions of socioeconomic or political vulnerability due to discriminatory policies, who are often people of color or part of a racial minority.
In other words: because democrats used to own slaves, we need more white prostitutes to achieve racial equality in this country.
You know what is not addressed in this “comprehensive” human trafficking report? Joe Biden’s shitty immigration policies facilitating the human smuggling trade. Biden opening up the borders and ceasing any immigration enforcement has made it easier than ever for scumbags to smuggle child sex slaves into this country.
But the Biden administration wants us to think it’s totally systemic racism that’s responsible for the human sex trafficking trade. What a bunch of assholes.
