In Rules for Radicals, Saul Alinski wrote, “He who controls the language, controls the masses.” He stole this from George Orwell, who meant it as a warning, but liberals are serious about their fascist dictatorship designs. The Washington Post is attempting to control the language with a demand that people stop saying the Texas democrats “fled” the state because it makes them sound like they are cowards.
Check out WaPo columnist Karen Attiah. Yeah, she’s a Karen:
Can we stop saying “fleeing” the state, as if they are cowards or victims?
I don’t understand why we can’t just say they left the state. This was a power move. Not a weak one. https://t.co/gkg5Tswkks

Texas democrats failed to show up for a special session of the Texas State Legislature because they don’t have the votes to block an election reform bill. This is in violation of state law and they can be arrested for it. Rather than face arrest, which must be done on Texas soil, they left the state.
“Flee” means to run away from something. In this case, the Texas democrats are running away from their duties as lawmakers and the threat of arrest. “Fleeing” is the absolute perfect word to describe what they have done and, for the record, it is an incredibly cowardly move.
Rather than accurately describe what the Texas democrats did, the WaPo is trying to redefine what “fleeing” means. This is not the act of an organization that has your best interests in mind, it’s a means to control what you think.
In another even more Orwellian move, The New York Times went full Ministry of Truth:
Shouting “Freedom” and other anti-government slogans, hundreds of Cubans took to the streets in cities around the country on Sunday to protest food and medicine shortages, in a remarkable eruption of discontent not seen in nearly 30 years. https://t.co/BbqQPLrNiE

“Shouting ‘Freedom’ and other anti-government slogans?” So “freedom” is an anti-government slogan? Wow. Here I thought “freedom” was a pro-freedom slogan, but not according to the NYT.
This is a half a tick away from “Freedom is Slavery” and “War is Peace.”
People like to say that the TV show The Simpsons predicted so many things like Trump’s presidency and the COVID-19 pandemic, but they got nothing on George Orwell. Orwell’s novel 1984 has so accurately predicted modern liberals and the democratic party that it’s eerie.
Orwell’s message with 1984 was, “don’t let this happen.” Liberals however see the book as a blue print to completely control the masses and impose their communist/fascist rule: Control the language, control the thinking. Control the thinking, control behavior.
Anyone who thinks these attempts by the liberal media to redefine words are innocent mistakes is fooling themselves. This is part of a coordinated effort to stop critical thinking and dissent. This is how they intend to control you.
“Government wants to control information and control language because that’s the way you control thought, and basically that’s the game they’re in,” said George Carlin.
Since the liberal media is the propaganda arm of the democratic party and the democrats are currently in control of the federal government, the fake news industry is the Ministry of Truth.
