Democrats claim all kinds of crap like abortions, free college, and men showering with little girls are Constitutional rights, despite the complete lack of amendments supporting this nonsense. On the other hand they think things like gun ownership and free speech they don’t like are not Constitutional rights despite amendments protecting these things. In the ever-expanding democratic rights confusion, they are trying to tell us that we don’t have a right to breathe.
At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic our overlords told us not to wear masks and to hug Chinese people so as not to appear racist. They then changed their minds and said we had to wear masks to flatten the curve. When that curve was flat, they told us to double-up on the masks just to be safe. When the vaccine became available, we were told if we got it, we could stop wearing masks. Then they came up with the Delta Variant and said we have to put the masks back on.
Continuing with this anti-science garbage, Dr. Anthony went on ABC’s This Week to explain why this time they are totally right about masks after being so wrong so many times:

Fauci is saying that by breathing, you are encroaching on other people’s rights. That’s bad but nothing compared to Terrible Ted Lieu’s spin on this latest liberal talking point:

Ted Lieu is telling people they need permission to breathe in public at the same time he accuses “free-breathers” of being tyrants. That’s some next-level bullshitting right there.
Even better, Lieu has declared war on those who foolishly believe they have right to breathe how and where they want. He claims he will win this war but doesn’t give any details on how he intends to stop people from breathing. Maybe he’ll deploy his buddy Eric Swalwell to fart all over the place, discouraging people from inhaling.
Admittedly there is no specific Constitutional amendment that guarantees our right to keep and bear breath, but I’m certain the Supreme Court would rule that people have to not die of asphyxiation. We have a right to breathe. We have a right to live. Anyone who argues the contrary is an evil miserable piece of shit.
Dr. Fauci and Ted Lieu are trying to make a case that the government has the authority to dictate if, when, and where people are allowed to breathe. The worst dictators in history never went this far.
