As the Taliban began taking over Afghanistan last week, Joe Biden went on vacation. This weekend the terrorists completed the takeover and Joe was nowhere to be seen. The optics were bad enough that Biden flew back to D.C. to spend 20 minutes reading off of a teleprompter and the quickly returned to his vacation retreat. Oh, and he blamed Trump for the entire thing.
“When I came into office, I inherited a deal President Trump negotiated with the Taliban. Under his agreement, U.S. forces would be out of Afghanistan by May one 2021. Just a little over 3 months after I took office,” said Biden.
Here’s a fun fact: Trump did reach a deal with the Taliban to withdraw all U.S. troops but it came with a caveat. If the Taliban f*cked up in any way, Trump said, “If bad things happen, we’ll go back with a force like no-one’s ever seen.”
Nowhere in Biden’s speech did he mention going back in to kick the Taliban’s ass.
“The choice I had to make, as your president, was either to follow through on that agreement or be prepared to go back to fighting the Taliban in the middle of the Spring fighting season. There would have been no ceasefire after May one. There was no agreement protecting our forces after May one. There was no status quo of stability without America casualties after May one,” Biden said.
Why does he keep saying “May one”? Does he call it “July four” or Friday thirteen”? Actaully, he probably does. He’s balls-out crazy.
Also, if Biden claims that because of Trump’s agreement his hands were tied and he had to get U.S. Troops out by May one, why did he wait until August to get the U.S. out of Afghanistan? Why did he set the anniversary of 9/11 to be that date that all U.S. forces would be out?
The answer to those questions is that Biden is lying. His decision to pull the troops out had nothing to do with Trump, nor did the sloppiness of his execution of that order.
“There’s only cold reality of either following through on that agreement, withdraw our forces, or escalate the conflict,” Biden said.
After Biden reiterated his opinion that Trump had forced him to pull the troops, his very next line was:
“I stand square behind my decision,” said Biden.
If it was Biden’s decision, and that’s debatable, why then is he trying to blame Trump? The answer to that is because Biden blames everyone except himself for his f*ck-ups. He went on to blame the Afghan government and military for his colossal foreign policy blunder.
Interestingly enough, I found these old tweets from Blameless Joe that haven’t aged well:
In times of crisis, the American people deserve a president who tells them the truth and takes responsibility. Donald Trump has not been that president. pic.twitter.com/QikZiHZeXX

The presidency is about a lot more than tweeting from your golf cart. It requires taking on the ultimate responsibility for the biggest decisions in the world. Donald Trump simply wasn’t prepared for that. I promise you I will be.

Here’s my promise to you: If I’m elected president, I will always choose to unite rather than divide.
I’ll take responsibility instead of blaming others.
I’ll never forget that the job isn’t about me — it’s about you.

It’s hard to believe this has to be said, but unlike this president, I’ll do my job and take responsibility. I won’t blame others. And I’ll never forget that the job isn’t about me — it’s about you.

If you are keeping score at home, Biden has blamed Trump for Afghanistan, the border crisis, inflation, high gas prices, and vaccine hesitancy. These are things he created with his incompetence and hasn’t taken any responsibility. I’m as shocked as you that Biden would lie about stuff like this.
After blaming Trump for his mess for 20 minutes, Biden bolted, taking no questions from the press, and flew back to resume his vacation. Biden’s lack of interest in the job puts Obama’s phoned-in presidency to shame.
