Australia Is Shooting Dogs And Pepper Spraying Kids To Stop COVID-19

Democrats like to hold Australia up as the gold standard for gun control and perhaps they might want to emulate the country’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Aussies are literally arresting people for breaking lockdowns, pepper spraying children who want to play, and shooting dogs to death, all in the name of preventing the spread of the virus.

Here’s what kind of “freedom” is available in Australia according to News9:

75% of those hospitalized with COVID-9 are obese, so it’s positively genius to restrict exercise that might help people get in shape.

This lockdown also includes limiting the reasons a person is allowed to leave their residence:

You can only leave the home for the following four reasons:

shopping for essential items (one person only within LGA/5km)

care and compassionate reasons (one visitor only)

exercise (in groups no more than 2 – excluding groups of household members, within 5km or within LGA. No outdoor recreation)

work and education that cannot be conducted remotely

But what happens if you leave your home for a non-approved reason? Well, they arrest you:

In that news report, some teenagers were caught out after curfew, arrested, and fined $1,000 each. Somehow they got off way better than this kid:

If you think pepper spraying a kid holding a sign that says “let me play” is the worst thing going on, check this shit out:

From The Sydney Morning Herald:

Several impounded dogs due to be rescued by a shelter have instead been shot dead by a rural council in NSW under its interpretation of COVID-19 restrictions, alarming animal activists and prompting a government probe.

Bourke Shire Council, in the state’s north-west, killed the dogs to prevent volunteers at a Cobar-based animal shelter from travelling to pick up the animals last week, according to council’s watchdog, the Office of Local Government.

“OLG has been informed that the council decided to take this course of action to protect its employees and community, including vulnerable Aboriginal populations, from the risk of COVID-19 transmission,” a spokesman from the government agency said.

A source who is familiar with the arrangement said the shelter volunteers were distressed and had COVID-safe measures in place to handle the dogs, one of which was a new mother.

And here’s the kicker:

According to NSW Health, there have been no recent locally acquired COVID-19 cases in Cobar, although fragments of the virus have been found in the area’s sewerage system.

When you’re shooting puppies in a rescue shelter, you’ve gone too far and it’s crazy that I have to point that out.

Meanwhile back at the White House, Joe Biden is asking his handlers why he can’t lockdown America the way Australia has. Chances are, they are working on it as we speak.
