The City of San Francisco is a dangerous place, drenched in human waste, used needles, and violent scumbags. The reason why the city is like that is because liberals run the place, so clearly a liberal solution is in order to fix it. The leftist braintrust of SF put their heads together and decided the best way to clean up the city is to pay the violent scumbags cash money if they can refrain from shooting each other.

San Francisco is rolling out a pilot program that will pay high-risk individuals to not shoot anyone as gun crimes tick up in the city.
The Dream Keeper Fellowship will pay 10 individuals who are at high risk of being on either end of a shooting $300 each month to not be involved in such crimes.
Wait. They also have to not get shot to collect the money? This program is stupid but that’s kind of an unfair rule. I’m sure in certain scummy neighborhoods, the likelihood of getting shot is pretty high, plus this would seem to incentivize the shooting of people involved in the program: Bang! “There goes your 300 bucks, bitch!”
If this sounds like a pretty sweet deal and you happen to live in SF and would to get in on it, you should know it’s only open to black people:
The fellowship is being rolled out by the Human Rights Commission and Office of Economic and Workforce Development and is funded through the Dream Keeper Initiative, which is San Francisco’s program that works to redirect funding into the Black community. It will launch in October.
Isn’t it a tad bit racist to use taxpayer funds on a program that excludes certain races? Actually, isn’t it seriously racist for the city of San Francisco to announce that the have to pay blacks to keep them from shooting each other?
This program is dumb but as The SF Examiner reports, it’s positively stupid:
Participants will be able to earn up to $200 more a month by hitting milestones in the program, such as landing a job interview, complying with probation or consistently meeting with a mentor.
An extra 200 bones for complying with probation? That’s f*cking crazy. Doesn’t failure to comply with probation land a person back in the slammer and shouldn’t that be incentive enough?
I get that this program is paying people to follow the law but I still have a few questions:
Can a scumbag stab someone and still collect the $300?
Can a scumbag rape someone and still collect the $300?
If a scumbag trips up and shoots someone in October but gets back on track in November and shoots nobody, would the $300 payments resume?
My biggest question however is, are the participants on the honor system? How will the program administers verify that a scumbag didn’t shoot someone? Is there a monthly questionnaire they must fill out with a trick question: How many people did you shoot this month? If that’s the case, I bet more than a few will f*ck up and write down something other than zero.
There is no doubt this program will be a colossal failure and in all likelihood, the scumbags are going to use their first $300 dollar payments to buy guns:
