Joe Biden’s foreign policy disaster in Afghanistan really puts his domestic policy desires into perspective, namely gun control. The illegitimate president just gave brutal terrorists, the Taliban, over 500,000 firearms including 400,000 machine guns but here at home wants to ban semi-automatic rifles. Clearly Biden trusts the Taliban more than he does Americans and, in fact, sees us as the real enemies.
Part of the haul of military hardware Joe Biden gifted the Taliban was 126,295 pistols, 358,530 M4/M4A1 5.56mm Carbines, and 64,363 M249/M240/Browning M2s. Meanwhile at home, Biden is pushing a gun control agenda that would, “Ban the manufacture and sale of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.” In Biden’s twisted thinking, it’s okay for terrorists to have actual weapons of war to murder innocent people but Americans can’t own semi-automatic refiles for sport and protection.
In addition to wanting to ban semi-automatic rifles in the U.S., Biden also wants to get rid of normal-capacity magazines:
“Who in God’s name needs a hundred rounds in a bullet, in a clip, with a gun you have?” Biden asked.
Biden vowed, “to get those assault weapons off the street…and those clips that have multiple bullets in them not for sale.”
“The idea that we don’t have elimination of assault-type weapons, magazines that can hold multiple bullets in them, it’s absolutely mindless,” said Biden.
Those M4s Biden gave the Taliban come with standard 30-round magazines and the various machine guns he gifted them are belt-fed and can fire virtually continuously.
And Biden has assured us that nobody needs these types of weapons:
“No one needs an AR-15. Period. We have to get these weapons of war out of our communities,” said Biden.
“Who in God’s name needs to have a 9mm pistol with 10 rounds in it?” Biden asked.
Because, as Biden explained, the only reason why a person would need a firearm is to hunt ducks and semi-automatic guns are unsuitable:
“We protect ducks flying over our territory more than our children. You can only put 3 shells in your shotgun when you’re going hunting,” Biden said.
“Federal law prevents hunters from hunting migratory game birds with more than three shells in their shotgun. That means our federal law does more to protect ducks than children. It’s wrong,” said Biden.
Weirdly enough, there are a variety of migratory birds in Afghanistan, including ducks, geese and swans. I seriously doubt the Taliban hunts anything but infidels, but if they did go after waterfowl, a .50 BMG machine gun would be the wrong tool for the job.
Biden has justified his attempt to ban and confiscate our semi-automatic rifles by claiming they would be of no use to take on the government:
“If you need weapons to protect yourself from the government, you’d better go get an F-15. You’d better buy yourself a fighter jet or a bazooka rocket launcher,” said Biden.
“All this stuff about how we’re going to have to move against the government. Well, the tree of liberty was not watered with the blood of patriots. What’s happened is, that there never been, if you want a and you think you a need weapons to take on the government, you need F-15s and maybe some nuclear weapons,” Biden said.
“Those who say ‘the tree of liberty is watered with the blood of patriots, a great line, well, guess what: The fact is, if you’re going to take on the government you need an F-15 with Hellfire Missiles. There is no way an AK-47 is going to take care of you if you’re going take on, worried about the government coming down, knocking on your door,” Biden said.
And yet, the Taliban took over the entire country of Afghanistan riding around in pick-up trucks, armed with AK-47s. That’s how they got all that sweet military hardware, including the 400,000 automatic weapons.
That Biden gave the Taliban all of those machine guns but doesn’t trust us with semi-automatic weapons is a clear indication of who he sees as the enemy. He has no problem arming terrorists, but wants to disarm Americans. For the record, this is know as treason.
