One of the first things Joe Biden did after stealing the White House was to order the military to root out “white supremacist extremists” from their ranks. This was seen as a move to purge the military of troops loyal to Donald Trump. Instead it was an exercise in stupidity because they only found 100 “extremists” out 2 million members of the military. Even with that, it’s unlikely that any of them did anything more than liking something on social media.
Fox News reports on the Pentagon’s big score:
A new Pentagon report found that roughly 100 U.S. service members participated in “prohibited extremist activities” in the last nine months.
“We believe that less than 100, or about 100, active duty or reserve component members of the military participated in prohibited extremist activities,” said Pentagon press secretary John Kirby.
Because that number is underwhelming, The AP did their best to make it sound a little scarier:
Senior defense officials tell The Associated Press that fewer than 100 military members are known to have been involved in substantiated cases of extremist activity in the past year, but they warn that the number may grow given recent spikes in domestic violent extremism, particularly among veterans.
Has there been a spike in domestic violent terrorism involving veterans? You’d think stuff like that would have made the news. The only recent incident of violent domestic terrorism I can think of is the Waukesha Christmas parade massacre which was perpetrated by a racist black piece of shit.
This report doesn’t say specifically what any of these 100 or so extremists did, but it came with a list of banned activities:
The new policy lays out in detail the banned activities, which range from advocating terrorism or supporting the overthrow of the government to fundraising or rallying on behalf of an extremist group or “liking” or reposting extremist views on social media.
So perhaps the military found some guys who shared a Def-Con News article and now they are labeled extremists. Sounds like a serious problem.
The Pentagon also wouldn’t name specific “extremist” groups associated with these 100 “extremists” which makes this even more suspicious:
But the report did not designate specific groups such as Proud Boys or Black Lives Matter as extremist groups, an omission Kirby said was deliberate despite widespread attention on the issue.
“Groups can and do change their methodology, their ideals, their motivations, and they can reform themselves. They can disband and reform into something else. And so if we got into coming up with a list of extremist groups, it would be only probably as good as the day we published it,” said Kirby.
In other words, they were looking for white supremacists but only found BLM and Antifa scum. If they had actually found active military members aligned with neo-Nazi or white nationalist groups, they would have made a big deal out of it.
Another hint that this “100 extremists” thing is a complete load of horse shit is the fact that they make no mention of punishing or kicking out any soldiers. They say they found this extremist activity, won’t say what it is, won’t say what it’s related to, and took no disciplinary action.
Even if they actually did find 100 service members who were up to no good, who gives a shit? There are 2 million people in the U.S. Military. I’m sure there’s more than 100 of them who are rapists, active gang members, or pedophiles. They only thing they can’t find 100 of in the military is soldiers who support Joe Biden.
