The liberal media junkies can’t break their Trump habit and need him pumped into their veins every day or they go into convulsions. The latest bit of fake news has the TDS press feigning outrage that Donald Trump clogged up the White House toilets with classified documents he was trying to destroy.
Let’s just take this step by step to see the pure derangement of the liberal media. First, there’s this nothing burger from Business Insider:
Former President Donald Trump took several boxes of official White House records and memorabilia that should have been handed over to the National Archives to Mar-a-Lago instead…
The National Archives has so far “arranged transport” to recover 15 boxes of documents from Trump’s Florida resort and winter residence, the agency confirmed in a Monday statement. Under the Presidential Records Act, Trump should have given those records over to the agency upon leaving office.
It’s possible he didn’t know he was supposed to give these to the National Archives but the key point here is that Trump readily turned over the documents.
Liberals suffering from TDS however see something sinister in everything Trump-related so there’s this from Rolling Stone:
Former President Donald Trump took White House records to Mar-a-Lago that were clearly marked as classified, The Washington Post reported on Thursday. Some of the documents were assigned a “top secret” designation.
The revelation comes a day after The New York Times reported that the National Archives was concerned the former president brought classified material out of the White House, and that the Archives was consulting with the Justice Department on the matter.
Unsurprisingly, the source for all of this “criminal” activity is “two anonymous sources.” It’s unclear if those anonymous sources are the same two people who fed the fake news industry false stories about Trump that they’ve had to retract but probably.
But wait, things get stupider because NYT contributor Maggie Haberman has a new book coming out that ties into this crap, literally:
While President Trump was in office, staff in the White House residence periodically discovered wads of printed paper clogging a toilet — and believed the president had flushed pieces of paper, Maggie Haberman scoops in her forthcoming book, “Confidence Man.”
The liberal media narrative has now become a lie that Trump clogged up the White House toilets trying to flush classified documents. Keep in mind there is zero evidence to support this other than a bunch of fake news losers who can’t get over their Trump addiction.
Donald Trump took the the time to address this bullshit:
Following collaborative and respectful discussions, the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) openly and willingly arranged with President Trump for the transport of boxes that contained letters, records, newspapers, magazines, and various articles. Some of this information will someday be displayed in the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library for the public to view my Administration’s incredible accomplishments for the American People.
“The media’s characterization of my relationship with NARA is Fake News. It was exactly the opposite! It was a great honor to work with NARA to help formally preserve the Trump Legacy,” said Trump.
And:
“Also, another fake story, that I flushed papers and documents down a White House toilet, is categorically untrue and simply made up by a reporter in order to get publicity for a mostly fictitious book. The Democrats are just using this and the Unselect Committee of political hacks as a camouflage for how horribly our Country is doing under the Biden Administration,” Trump said.
Where’s the liberal media stories about Biden clogging up the White House toilets because of his insistence on flushing his adult diapers? I just made that up and it has 100% more credibility than any of this Trump nonsense because it sounds plausible.
