In response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Biden gave a speech that was supposed to instill fear in Vladimir Putin. Instead, he forgot what the hell he was talking about. Obviously the Russian president was never afraid of Sleepy Joe but now he’s thinking about taking over all of Europe because the lights are on at the White House but nobody’s home.
Biden was over an hour late to give a 10 minute speech on the Russia/Ukraine situation. Presumably he was being coached to sound forceful and authoritative and clearly an hour wasn’t long enough. Biden read badly from a teleprompter with no sense or purpose. It was a sad old guy struggling to read words someone else prepared for him.
Biden kicked things off by struggling with the number 2, which was kind of predicted earlier by Def-Con News:
“He asserted that these regions are actually extend deeper than the 2 (strains for a moment) areas he recognized,” said Biden.
This line was supposed to be Joe expressing anger:
“Who in the Lord’s name does Putin think gives him the right to declare new so-called countries on territory that belongs neighbors?” Biden asked.
Instead of projecting that line with power, Biden read it deadpan and with some uncomfortable pauses as he tried to read it off the teleprompter.
There was some patented Joe gibberish:
“And I told Putin vih to his face some month a month more than a month ago,” Biden said.
Plus some patented Joe nonsense:
“The moment Russia moved against Ukraine, Russia has now undeniably moved against Ukraine,” said Biden.
You don’t say.
And finally some patented Joe braindeadery:
“Yesterday the world heard clearly the full extent of Vladimir Putin twisted rewrite of history. Going back more than a century as he waxed eloquently. Noting that,” Biden started.
Biden completely forget where he was going with this and quickly tried to get out of it.
“Well, I’m not going to go into it but nothing in Putin lenther remarks indicate any interest in pursuing any real dialog,” Biden finished.
He might not have said “lenther” but that’s as close to what came out of his mouth as I could come up with.
Having demonstrated to the world and Vladimir Putin that he waffle batter for brains, Biden walked off without taking questions.
Just in case Putin wasn’t completely terrified by Joe’s feebleness, he showed it again later in the day. During some kind of supply chain Zoom meeting, Biden was asked a question by the press:
“Do you think you may have underestimated Putin?” a reporter asked.
Biden didn’t answer the question or even acknowledge that it was asked. He just stared blankly into space for a while. After a few seconds he gave a dopey grin and then picked his teeth.
Biden definitely underestimated Putin but Putin knows exactly what he’s dealing with in Biden. This is a guy who has no idea what is going on and is incapable of leading. That’s why Russia is walking all over Joe.
