The liberal effort to classify everything as racist took one more step toward completion as Seattle has declared bicycle helmets as symbols of white supremacy. Actually, they ruled the a law requiring bike helmets is racist because black people don’t like wearing them. Under that logic swimming and eating pussy are also very racist activities.

The King County Board of Health repealed its mandatory bike helmet law Thursday, citing the law was racist and discriminatory.
The 29-year-old rule has targeted four times more Black cyclists than white cyclists, and news outlet Crosscut found that nearly half of Seattle’s helmet tickets went out to homeless people.
The county has wanted to repeal the law since September 2021, with many board members having strong feelings against it. They say the focus should be on educational campaigns about helmet safety, and not enforcing a law.
If they’re going to do that, they might as well declare all laws racist since a disproportionate amount of black people are arrested for every crime. Actually, that’s pretty much what is going on with the “racial justice” reforms in many major cities. Eliminating cash bail and refusing to prosecute most offenses are ways that liberal DAs have decriminalized crime for black lawbreakers.
Still, it would make things more equitable if they took most laws off the books. Since most people who are arrested for illegally posting a firearm are black, they should eliminate all restrictions on gun ownership. Also, most people who commit hate crime assaults against Asians are black, so kicking an elderly Chinese lady in the head should be classified as an acceptable form of social protest, provided the assailant is black.
What King county is really saying with this bike helmet law repeal is that black people can’t follow the same rules everybody else does. It seems way more racist to publicly announce that black people can’t behave themselves than giving a ticket to a black person for breaking the law.
This is all a part of the reason why many major U.S. cities are now crime-infested shitholes. Liberal politicians have pushed for “reforms” that stop the enforcement of things like vagrancy, public defecation, and petty theft because they say too many minorities are caught doing these things. When you stop enforcing the smaller crimes, scumbags are emboldened and that’s when the bigger crimes explode.
It’s really quite simple: if you don’t want to live in a cesspool, you gotta clean up the shit.
Here’s the thing, bike helmet laws are bullshit and should be repealed, but not because they are racist. The government shouldn’t be telling grown-ass adults they have to wear a stupid-looking foam thing on there heads if they want to go for leisurely ride. Seatbelts save lives, bike helmets make you look like a dork.
I kind of joked about it in the beginning, but this move will probably result in bike helmets becoming symbols of white supremacy. Now that Seattle has abolished the law, white cyclists in the city who chose to wear helmets will be chased down the street for being Nazi oppressors.
