The Black Lives Matter movement was founded on the lie that Trayvon Martin was an innocent teenager who was murdered for being black. The truth of the matter is, he was a thug who attacked an armed man and was shot in self-defense. On the 10th anniversary of this worthless piece of shit’s death, the NYT and Obama celebrate his short miserable life with lies and bullshit.
February 26, 2012, in Sanford, Florida Neighborhood Watch captain George Zimmerman noticed a suspicious person creeping around and called the police. That suspicious person was Trayvon Martin, a dope-smoking thief. Before police could respond, Martin jumped Zimmerman and began pummeling his face and slamming his head into the concrete.
Zimmerman was licensed to carry a concealed weapon and it’s a good thing because other he would have been eaten to death on that night. Instead, Zimmerman drew his weapon and fired a single shot into Martin’s chest. After saying, “you got me” Martin fell over and died.
This was a nothing case until Al Sharpton got ahold of and whipped up a racial shit storm. Zimmerman was arrested and put on trail for murder. The liberal media did their part and claimed that “white” Zimmerman had killed an innocent unarmed black kid. The media later amended their description of Zimmerman to: “white Hispanic.”
Zimmerman was acquitted by a jury of his peers, who said it was a clear-cut case of self-defense. Obama’s Justice Department wanted to bring Zimmerman up on federal charges but declined to because there was no supporting evidence.
Ten years later, Obama teamed up with The New York Times for this garbage tribute to Trayvon Martin:

It’s nice to see Obama hasn’t changed a bit. He still makes everything about him. This tribute to Trayvon Martin is about Obama’s feelings because that’s the most important thing.
It’s also about bullshit. If you can stomach the video, it starts out with the 911 call that Zimmerman made the night he shot Martin. The only problem is, it’s a deceptively edited version of that call. In fact, an NBC producer was fired for editing the call. You’d think the NYT would know about it since they covered it back in 2012:
NBC News has fired a producer who was involved in the production of a misleading segment about the Trayvon Martin case in Florida.
The action came in the wake of an internal investigation by NBC News into the production of the segment, which strung together audio clips in such a way that made George Zimmerman’s shooting of Mr. Martin sound racially motivated.
The segment in question was shown on the “Today” show on March 27. It included audio of Mr. Zimmerman saying, “This guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black.”
But Mr. Zimmerman’s comments had been taken grossly out of context by NBC. On the phone with a 911 dispatcher, he actually said of Mr. Martin, “This guy looks like he’s up to no good. Or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about.” Then the dispatcher asked, “O.K., and this guy — is he white, black or Hispanic?” Only then did Mr. Zimmerman say, “He looks black.”
In a funny coincidence, that NYT piece was written by current CNN “Tater Tot” Brian Stelter.
The NYT knows this edited Zimmerman call is bullshit and they used it anyway. There is also absolutely no mention of George Zimmerman’s acquittal in this travesty.
Trayvon Martin gave birth to the Black Lives Matter but he also helped creative often-used black phrase: “f*ck around and find out.” That’s a legacy almost as sad as Barack Obama’s.
