It turns out the liberal media isn’t just a vehicle to spread democratic party propaganda, they also shill for Russia. As the Russian invasion of Ukraine has caused untold death and suffering, the U.S. media has been unusually focused on the “racism” of Ukraine. As it turns out, this is Russian disinformation that the fake news industry is willfully pushing.
There are a lot of major story lines with the Russian invasion of Ukraine, like the innocent civilians being killed and Vladimir Putin’s evil Hitleresque ambitions. This however is what the major players of the American liberal media are focused on:
CNN: Foreign students fleeing Ukraine say they face segregation, racism at border
NBC: ‘Open the door or we die’: Africans report racism and hostility trying to flee Ukraine
MSNBC: Reports of discrimination, racism at the Ukrainian border
The Washington Post: African and South Asian citizens fleeing Ukraine denounce racism
The New York Times: Africans Say Ukrainian Authorities Hindered Them From Fleeing
Time: They Called Ukraine Home. But They Faced Violence and Racism When They Tried to Flee
Newsweek: Black Immigrants Report Racist Treatment As They Try to Flee Ukraine
The list goes on and on and many of these outlets have 3 or 4 articles about the “racism” of the Ukrainian border guards. There isn’t usually a unified bullshit story like this in the liberal media unless it involves Donald Trump.
Clearly the U.S. media wants everyone to think that Ukraine is the racist bad guy here, but why? Well, the Voice of America may have the answer:
Russian efforts to flood the information environment and rally support for its invasion of Ukraine appear to be hitting a wall as many of Moscow’s media outlets have been blocked in Europe and elsewhere.
But Russia’s propagandists are still trying to seize on developments that could boost the country’s fortunes in Africa.
Analysts at the Washington-based Alliance for Securing Democracy tell VOA that after initially ignoring the story, Russian-affiliated outlets have tried to amplify reports of Africans and other people of color meeting with racism as they try to flee the fighting in Ukraine.
VOA cited a recent headline from Russia’s Sputnik that read: “Indians & Africans Fleeing Ukraine Accuse Ukrainian Border Security of Violence, Racism.” Gee, where have a read that before?
The VOA piece is focused entirely on Russia pushing the propaganda that Ukraine is racist but as we’ve seen, the U.S. liberal media is doing the exact same thing. Our fake news machine is fueled by Russian propaganda.
Several other narratives swirling the the fake news-o-sphere are that Republicans, especially Donald Trump, are praising Putin as well as the crazy notion that Republicans are to blame for Russia invading Ukraine. No doubt these stories are the result of Russian propaganda as well.
Joe Biden just announced that the U.S. will no longer import Russian oil and gas. He should have also put a ban on importing Russian propaganda but the U.S. fake news industry relies on rubles since nowhere here pays attention to them.
