I just got done writing about what a dumbass Kamala Harris is but she doesn’t hold the patent on stupidity in the democratic party. Today at Ketanji Brow Jackson’s confirmation hearing, Senator Mazie Hirono told the Supreme Court nominee that she wasn’t picked to fill a quota but rather she was nominated to fill a quota. I’m sensing a pattern with these democrats.
CBS News tweeted out this clip of the confirmation hearings Monday because they thought it made democrats look great and Republicans look bad. Like everything else about the fake news industry, they were wrong:

“Some of my Republican colleagues and public figures have attempted to undermine your qualifications through their pejorative use of the term afordavive affirmative action. They have implied you were solely nominated due to your race and not due to other factors,” said Hirono.
On the campaign trail, then-candidate Joe Biden said if he was elected, he would nominate a black woman to the Supreme Court. When a vacancy opened up, he doubled down that he would only consider a black woman. Ketanji Brown Jacks was nominated solely due to her race and not other factors. It’s a fact and here’s the proof:
In February of 2020, in what Biden called “North South Carolina” Joe made a pledge:

Yes, Biden said he was looking forward to nominating a black woman to the United States Senate, but he meant the Supreme Court. He’s a bit absent-minded.
After lying about why Jackson was nominated, Hirono piled on the bullshit like only democrats can do:
“This is incredibly offensive and condescending. Let me be clear, your nomination is about, not about, filling a quota, it is about time. It’s about time that we have a highly-qualified, highly-accomplished black woman on the Supreme Court,” Hirono said.
So there was a lack of black women on the Supreme Court and now it’s time to get one on? In other words, she is filling a racial and gender quota that democrats feel is long over due. In other other words, Maize Hirono just said Jackson wasn’t nominated to fill a quota but rather to fill a quota. This kid of stupid doesn’t happen organically, it must be worked on and perfected.
Hirono fished off with one last bit of stupidity:
“It’s about time that black women and girls can finally see themselves who look like them sitting on the highest court,” said Hirono.
She read that nonsense off of notes, so presumably that’s how she wrote it.
If democrats really wanted a black woman on the Supreme Court, they could have made that happen back in 2005 by confirming Janice Rogers Brown, but Joe Biden blocked that with a threat of using the racist filibuster.
If Ketanji Brown Jackson were truly qualified to sit on the Supreme Court, democrats would welcome scrutiny of her judicial record and legal opinions. Instead, they are painting Republicans as racist for wanting to understand what kind of Justice she would be.
