Democrats like to say a lot of silly stuff like killing babies and free college are Constitutional rights but this may be the goofiest. HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra says that taxpayer funded sex change operations for minors is a right that he is willing to fight for. He may want to check out the Constitution before dying on that hill.
Becerra was on Capitol Hill testifying before a House Budget Committee on Wednesday. Considering what as about to be discussed, it was trolling when the Committee Chairman recognized Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert as “the gentleman from Colorado.”
Boebert started off by asking Becerra to define a man, to which he replied, “You’re looking at one.” He was presumably under oath, so that could be considered perjury.
Boebert then asked Bacerra if men can get pregnant. After ducking the question for a while, Becerra reluctantly agreed that men cannot get pregnant. Boebert pointed out that in HHS materials, they indicate that people other than women can get pregnant. Becerra’s response was, “I’m all about inclusion.”
Things got even loonier when Boebert asked Becerra to define a “transgender child.”
“A child in America. A child in America. I hope you and I can love that child,” said Becerra.
Apparently the Biden administration considers every kid in the county a tranny. Also, what’s up with that “love that child” thing? That’s gotta be Joe’s creepy contribution to this insane policy.
Boerbert asked Becerra if he thought children were capable of making decisions to permanently main themselves though gender reassignment surgeries.
“Children know much about themselves,” replied Becerra.
Boerbert asked Becerra if taxpayer dollars have been used for sex change operations on minors.
“Americans are entitled to receive health care services,” said Becerra adding, “It would be against the law to deny them those services.”
What law says tax payers have to fund sex change operations on children? Did democrats slip that in the infrastructure bill?
And then, money shot:
“For the record, you favor HHS’s funding for sex reassignment for surgeries on minors?” Boebert asked.
“I will do anything I can to defend any American, including children, whether or not they fit the categories you have mentioned or not, and you talk about gender-affirming care I’m here to protect the rights of any American,” Becerra said.
So yes, Becerra is in favor of using taxpayer funds for sex change operations on kids and he says it is a right he is tasked with defending.
In one last bit of outrageousness, Boebert asked if Becerra thought the government should take children away from their parents if those parents refused to provide their kids with sex change operations.
“I believe in supporting and protecting transgender youth,” said Becerra. “And I believe that politicians like you should stay out of their business.”
Wow. Becerra wants to take kids away form their parents and thinks Boebert needs to STFU about it.
Democrats got thumped in Virginia because they didn’t think parents should have a say in their children’s education. Imagine the ass-kicking that’s coming in the midterms when democrats try to say parents don’t have a right to keep their children from have their genitals removed.
