Just two years ago, American had energy independence and affordable gas under President Trump. Now that Joe Biden has stolen the White House, he’s killed our energy industry, made us reliant on foreign oil, and sent gas prices through the roof. He then “fixed” the high gas prices by releasing our Strategic Petroleum Reserves, which only made prices go higher and now our reserves are almost gone.
Technically this doesn’t count as the newest thing Biden has f*cked up because he’s been working on it for a year and half. Reuters reports:
The amount of crude oil in the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) dropped by 5 million barrels in the week to May 13, data from the U.S. Department of Energy showed.
Stockpiles in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) fell to 538 million barrels, the lowest since 1987.
President Joe Biden in March announced the largest release ever from the U.S. emergency oil reserve at 1 million barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil for six months from the reserve in an attempt to bring down gasoline prices that have soared during Russia’s war with Ukraine.
Before that, the United States had committed to release 30 million barrels of SPR oil in March and pledged in November to release 50 million barrels from SPR.
Gas prices starting going up way before Russia invaded Ukraine. Reuters should have noticed that since they reported that Biden started releasing oil last November, 4 months before the war. This is shameless reporting from a corrupt liberal media outlet.
Reuters noted that this release was Biden’s attempt to bring down gas prices and yet:
Retail gasoline and diesel prices touched record highs this week as fuel demand rebounds to near pre-pandemic levels, while refining capacity has dropped.
An honest media outlet would call that a spectacular failure, but we know Reuters, like all fake newsers, is beholden to the democratic party so they make it seem like it’s our fault gas is at record highs.
But wait, the worst part is yet to come:
At least three vessels carrying crude oil from U.S. emergency stockpiles sailed for Europe in April as refiners there scrambled to replace Russian crude supplies, according to U.S. Customs data, ship tracking, and an industry source.
How does giving Europe our Strategic Petroleum Reserves bring down the price of gas in the United States? A better question is: how is this not a massive threat to our national security?
Joe Biden often says that white supremacy is the biggest national security threat we face, which is completely absurd, but draining our oil reserves is an actual threat to our nation. There is no bigger threat to our national security than being at the mercy of foreign oil producers and having no reserves. It wasn’t named the “Strategic” Petroleum Reserves for nothing.
We have 538 million barrels of oil left and consume 21 million barrels a day. If something were to happen, we’d be out of oil in 25 days. America could be destroyed in less than a month.
On it’s face, this seems like more gross incompetence from President Alzheimers but his string-pullers are doing this on purpose. The goal is to cripple U.S. energy, drive prices through the roof, and force people to accept their bullshit green energy socialist agenda.
