San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore J. Cordileone on Friday announced House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will no longer be admitted to Holy Communion due to her support of abortion.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church says:

Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion.

This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable.

After numerous attempts to speak with Speaker Pelosi to help her understand the grave evil she is perpetrating, the scandal she is causing, and the danger to her own soul she is risking, I have determined that she is not to be admitted to Holy Communion.

The Archdiocese of San Francisco also made the announcement on Friday.

What will San Fran Nan Pelosi do now?

Will the Archbishop choose to deny Nutty Nancy any other sacraments if she refuses to change her ways?

Perhaps, being a devout democrat, Nancy can use this refusal of Holy Communion to her advantage.

One possibility, she can choose to excommunicate herself from the Church—turn this troublesome event into a political coup de gras.

The only thing of which we can be certain is Nancy Pelosi will not put the church ahead of the democrat-communist party.
