A Sad, Frustrating Twist: Uvalde Mother Placed in Handcuffs by Federal Marshals For Attempting to Enter School to Save Her Child While Salvador Ramos Was on Killing Spree

Regional Director for the Department of Public Safety South Texas, Victor Escalon, Jr. on Thursday provided updates following the mass shooting at Robb Elementary that killed 19 children and 2 adults.

This from thegatewaypundit.com.

According to multiple reports, the shooter, Salvador Ramos, spent more than 40 minutes inside as loved ones and onlookers begged the police to charge into the building.

Ramos was inside of a classroom killing children whilst police and other law enforcement officers targeted desperate parents trying to save their children.

According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, one mother was placed in handcuffs and a father was tasered for trying to retrieve their children.

The Wall Street Journal reported:

Ms. Gomez, a farm supervisor, said that she was one of numerous parents who began encouraging—first politely, and then with more urgency—police and other law enforcement to enter the school.

After a few minutes, she said, federal marshals approached her and put her in handcuffs, telling her she was being arrested for intervening in an active investigation.

“Intervening an active investigation”? What the hell were these bozos investigating? The caliber and make and model of the gun being used to kill children and teachers?

The Journal reported:

Javier Cazares, whose daughter died in the attack, urged the bystanders:

[R]ush in because the cops aren’t doing anything like they are supposed to. More could have been done. They were unprepared.

A viral video also showed armed police pinning one man to the ground as the bystanders yelled at them to go in.

Sad and disgusting, yes? No guard on duty? Single-point entry not maintained? Killer gains entry unobstructed? Law enforcement preventing help from entering the killing zone?

Our elected leaders are clearly clueless and useless in dealing with these random killings.

Parents and concerned citizens are helpless. We’ve been stripped of everything except hope and prayer that the next mass shooting isn’t in our particular corner of the country.

Will this tragedy in Uvalde, Texas, finally bring about changes in school security?

Is it time to arm teachers? Bar doors? Post guards throughout schools—not just one lone security specialist? Security for every school in America must be a team effort. Schools should be treated like military installations with costly, critical materials held within.

We must no longer allow our schools to be soft targets for mentally ill mass shooters seeking suicide and notoriety.

The money The Regime is having printed to be sent halfway around the world should remain stateside and go toward school security in our crumbling Republic.

Final thought, questions: There was a time, perhaps fifty years ago, when the names and sordid details specific to a horrendous killer were not made public knowledge, yes? I believe I remember this was done to deny the perpetrator the notoriety they so sickly seek—and if I am correct, when did the country resume providing the notoriety to these monsters and why?

And ‘purposes of full disclosure’ is not a logical answer.
