Last Friday in Kansas City, a pregnant black woman was shot by police. Witnesses said she was unarmed and had her hands up (where have we heard that before?) but the truth of the matter is she had a gun in her hand. The local Targets and Walmarts are safe, for now.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol attempted to arrest 2 carjacking suspects last Friday when they spotted a vehicle matching the description near a Family Dollar Store in KC. The male suspect took off running but the female appeared to comply. Officers told her to put her hands up and get on the ground. She explained that she couldn’t get on the ground because she is pregnant and also told the cops that there was a gun in the car.
After failing to comply with orders to get on the ground, the woman turned and ran. Officers shot her 5 times and then handcuffed her. She was taken to the hospital where she is listed in stable condition.
One witness who calls herself, Shédanja, told the Kansas City Star that the woman was unarmed and cooperating.
The woman exited the car with her hands up, Shédanja said. Officers told the woman to get on the ground, but the woman told them she was pregnant, Shédanja said, and couldn’t get down on the ground.
“She did not pull out a weapon on them,” she said. “She did not even have a stick in her hand.”
“One, two, three, four, five. I remember it because it didn’t stop. They shot five times,” Shédanja said during a phone interview Saturday with The Star. “I remember seeing her hit the ground and I froze.”
Shédanja asked police several times why they shot the woman, but officers did not answer.
While it is certainly heartwarming that there’s so much love in the black community that a complete stranger would “Dindunuffin” for the criminal bitch, Shédanja is completely full of shit.

A 26-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, woman who was shot by Kansas City, Missouri, police officers Friday night has been charged in the case.
Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker said Leonna M. Hale was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon and a misdemeanor of resisting a lawful detention.
Hale was shot by Kansas City police officers outside a Family Dollar store near Sixth Street and Prospect Avenue. Authorities said the car she was in matched a description of one involved in an armed carjacking in Kansas City, Kansas.
When officers conducted a car check, the man driving the car jumped out and ran.
Court documents said Hale got out of the passenger side of the car and went to the rear of the vehicle.
Video surveillance from body cameras showed Hale being told to drop the firearm and pointing it at the officers before the officers fired three shots, according to court records.
Is it ironic that someone named Leonna Hale was taken down by a hail of bullets or is it just funny?
This happened almost a week ago and it’s shocking that Kansas City wasn’t burned to the ground. Where’s Black Lives Matter? I realize that BLM leadership has found embezzlement to be a more lucrative scam but the rank and file members should have been enacting racial justice by helping themselves to flat-screen TVs at Target.
Maybe black people have realized the futility of burning down their own neighborhoods and destroying black-owned business because black scumbags f*cked around and found out. Naw, that can’t be it. Maybe they’re saving up for a big summer offensive.
