The Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade is the gift that keeps on giving. Incensed by the ruling, Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong renounced his U.S. citizenship and said he’s moving to England for better access to abortions. Liberal celebs always threaten to leave the country and never do but hopefully this time one of them will.
Green Day performed in London on Friday and their singer had a big announcement.

“F*ck America. I’m f*cking renouncing my citizenship. I’m f*cking coming here. There’s just too much f*cking stupid in the world to go back to that miserable f*cking excuse for a country,” said Armstrong.
And he’s totes serious about this:
“Oh, I’m not kidding, you’re going to get a lot of me in the coming days,” Amstrong said.
Armstrong also said “F*ck the Supreme Court of America” and called the Justices “Pricks.”
If I’m reading this correctly, Billie Joe Armstrong is worried he won’t be allowed to have an abortion so he’s moving to England to have better access to that particular medical procedure. Has anyone told him he’s a dude and can’t get pregnant? Sure, liberals insist that men can have babies but there’s no science behind that and Armstrong has to know he lacks a uterus. Or not.
Making this extra-dumb, Armstrong lives in California, where abortion will remain legal. Also, abortion laws in the U.K. are way more restrictive than anywhere in the United States currently. Seriously, in England abortion is only permitted if the mother’s life is at risk and it is limited to the 24th week of pregnancy. In the U.S a woman can get an abortion for no reason at all, and most states allow her to get one right up until birth.
As if it wasn’t absurd enough that Armstrong is renouncing his U.S. citizenship and moving to England for better access to abortion, abortions are more restrictive there. Also, it should be noted, that there’s much much less freedom in the U.K. in terms of self-defense, free speech, and privacy.
Another thing Armstrong is going to find out is how much England taxes her subjects. If you make over £150,000, the tax rate is nearly 50%. That’s why all of the big British rock stars moved to America. They didn’t want to forfeit half of their earnings to the country. Quite frankly I’m shocked that even the mildly wealthy continue to live there.
Putting this all together, Billie Joe Armstrong is willing to surrender half his fortune for abortion access that he doesn’t need by moving to a place with stricter abortion laws. Man, liberals are stupid. Green Day had a hit called “American Idiot” and it turns out that was autobiographical.
Like I said, liberal celebs threaten to leave America all the time and none of them ever do. In the case of this asswipe, I certainly hope he follows through. No one will miss him and in fact, it’ll make the U.S. just a little bit nicer.
