When Donald Trump was running for president in 2016 he promised to lower taxes, build a strong economy, secure the border, and stand up to China, all things he accomplished. When Joe Biden was running in 2020 he made all sorts of crazy promises and I thought it would be fun to see how many he’s managed to pull off.
The following info is from Biden’s 2020 platform, which is hilariously still up. Let’s see how many of these promises Biden has kept:
Power Sector: Move ambitiously to generate clean, American-made electricity
He killed American energy independence and the Supreme Court just ruled the EPA can’t regulate greenhouse gases from coal-fired plants.
Accelerate innovation in supply-chain resilience
That didn’t happen.
BEAT COVID-19
That didn’t happen either and Joe was gifted a vaccine by Donald Trump.
Ban the manufacture and sale of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. Buy back the assault weapons and high-capacity magazines already in our communities.
Thankfully he failed on this one too and in actuality, the Supreme Court has also thwarted Joe’s gun control agenda.
Build an economy where everyone comes along and we protect the “least of these”
Thanks to the “Biden Price Hike” inflation has devastated poor and working class families and is driving our country toward a recession.
In a Biden administration, America will lead by example and rally the world to meet our common challenges that no one nation can face on its own, from climate change to nuclear proliferation, from great power aggression to transnational terrorism, from cyberwarfare to mass migration.
That’s about 10 fails right there from the war in Ukraine to the border crisis.
Stem the flow of illicit drugs, like fentanyl and heroin, into the United States – especially from China and Mexico.
He’d have to secure the border to do this but instead, fentanyl is flooding in and killing more people than die from AR-15s. He can’t even stop the flow of illicit drugs into his son Hunter.
Biden will work to codify Roe v. Wade, and his Justice Department will do everything in its power to stop the rash of state laws that so blatantly violate Roe v. Wade.
Nope. The funny thing here is that Biden probably figured that promising to protect a woman’s “right to choose” was a gimme and yet he still failed.
We must put country over partisan politics.
Like when he calls Republicans “neanderthals”? Joe is so divisive that he can’t even get his own party to buy into his radical agenda.
Joe Biden’s “Build Back Better” agenda has been a complete failure. Everything promise from building a strong economy to restoring dignity to the White House has been a lie. But hey, Joe shouldn’t feel too bad, he did manage to keep a couple of camping promises:
Welcome immigrants in our communities
Shit, Biden has welcomes half of the third world into our communities. well, nit his community, but the communities of a working class Americans.
We must work to reunite America.
This is easily Biden’s biggest win. He hasn’t united the country in the way he had hoped but 87% of the people think the country is moving in the wrong direction. Joe has united the country in their hatred for his illegitimate presidency.
Besides Trump, presidential candidates rarely keep their campaign promises but Biden did particularly bad. He should have pulled a vague Obama-esque “Hope and Change” deal because those things are subjective.
