So far democrats and the liberal media have resisted blaming the Higland Park, Illinois 4th of July parade mass shooting on white supremacy, despite the fact that a white “man” was arrested. My guess is, they don’t know what to make of this creepy weirdo. One thing is for sure, he’s a white rapper and definitely not a white supremacist.
Police arrested Robert E. “Bobby” Crimo III as a person of interest in the 4th of July Parade shooting in Highland Park that left 6 people dead and dozens injured. It would appear that authorities got the right asshole. The shooter, perched on a rooftop, opened fire on the parade and then left his weapon behind when he fled. Authorities traced the weapon, which they report was legally purchased by Crimo.
Crimo looks like a very typical Antifa beta male and that could be because that’s what he is. He is also a rapper who goes by the name “Awake the Rapper.” None of this adds up to right-wing white supremacist, but does point to left-wing loser.
Some of his social media posts, in the form of cheaply-made rap videos, indicate that he was obsessed with mass shootings. Thankfully those videos have been pulled so we don’t have to watch them.
He’s so convincingly not a right-wing extremist that it has the liberal media ignoring stuff they would normally freak out over. Here’s a shot of Crimo wearing a Trump flag like a cape:

Obviously Crimo is mocking Trump in these shots but the liberal media isn’t known for applying context. You’d expect them to scream: “OMG! He’s a Trump supporter who was incited by the former president’s violent hateful rhetoric!” There is however none of that going on because even the liberal media can recognize how much of a lefty doofus Crimo is.
Then, there’s this from Fox News:
Authorities investigating the deadly Fourth of July parade shooting in Highland Park, Illinois said Tuesday they believe suspected gunman Robert Crimo III “pre-planned this attack for several weeks.”
Lake County Major Crime Task Force spokesman Christopher Covelli said it appears Crimo III legally purchased a “high-powered rifle” and brought it to the parade before accessing the roof of a business through a fire escape ladder.
“During the attack, Crimo was dressed in women’s clothing and investigators do believe he did this to conceal his facial tattoos and his identity and help him during the escape with the other people who were fleeing the chaos,” he added.
“Killer drag queen/tranny” doesn’t exactly scream “right-wing white supremacist!”
It’s entirely possible that this terrorist attack mass shooting had no ideology at all behind it. Maybe Crimo is just a f*cked up weirdo who picked a horrible way to get some desperately needed attention.
The liberal media may not have gotten their right-wing extremism narrative here but they definitely got their gun control story. The weapon used has been only described as a “high-powered rifle” which we know means “AR-15.” Nobody’s blaming white power for this but you can bet your ass they’ll pointing fingers at black guns.
