Joe Biden Makes Assassination Of Former Japanese PM Shinzo Abe All About Gun Control

The former Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, was assassinated Friday morning by a disgruntled man with a homemade gun. While most world leaders were quick to offer condolences, Joe Biden slept in and was late to react. After careful consideration, the illegitimate president decided this tragedy was a good opportunity to push gun control.

Shinzo Abe, Japan’s longest serving PM who left office in 2020, was giving a speech in Western Japan when an assassin with a homemade double-barrel shotgun shot him twice in the back. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Someone caught the first shot on video:

The assassin said he was “dissatisfied” with Abe. He was tackled by security and this is a shot of his weapon:

That looks more like a highly-directional pipe bomb than a firearm.

Within minutes of the news of Abe’s assassination, world leaders issued statements, including former President Donald Trump:

“Absolutely devastating news that former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan, a truly great man and leader, has been shot, and is in very serious condition. He was a true friend of mine and, much more importantly, America. This is a tremendous blow to the wonderful people of Japan, who loved and admired him so much. We are all praying for Shinzo and his beautiful family!” Trump wrote.

But hours went by with no statement from current White House occupier Joe Biden. Finally, after a brainstorming session from Biden’s handlers, they put out this piece of shit:

I am stunned, outraged, and deeply saddened by the news that my friend Abe Shinzo, former Prime Minister of Japan, was shot and killed while campaigning.

While there are many details that we do not yet know, we know that violent attacks are never acceptable and that gun violence always leaves a deep scar on the communities that are affected by it. The United States stands with Japan in this moment of grief.

Gun violence? Affected communities? Stands with? This is literally the same thing Biden says after a mass shooting in the United States.

Biden is trying to make this political assassination the same thing as a crazy guy with an AR-15 shooting up a parade and it’s clearly not. The tone of Biden’s statement is that there is too much “gun violence” and that there needs to be more gun control to stop it.

Again, the assassin used a homemade gun, which is something even the extreme level of gun control in Japan couldn’t stop. And that’s the thing, it’s nearly impossible for a person to get a gun in Japan because their laws are so strict.

The issue isn’t that there is a massive proliferation of firearms in Japan or that their streets are awash with blood because of it but that’s what Joe Biden is trying to say. And the reason why he’s trying to say that is because he’s exploiting the assassination of Shinzo Abe to push his gun control agenda.

And while we’re on the subject, what the f*ck does “we stand with you” mean? After any shooting Biden says “We stand with Buffalo,” “We stand with Ulvade,” or “We stand with Highland Park.” It’s a completely empty gesture.

When Republicans offer “thoughts and prayers” democrats say “f*ck your thoughts and prayers.” The thing is, thoughts are prayers are tangible things and genuine gestures of empathy. “We stand with (fill in the blank)” is completely meaningless.
