You just knew the latest inflation numbers were going to be bad because the White House spent all week trying to soften the blow. Still, 9.1% inflation is astounding and a new 40-year high. Luckily Joe Biden has his word salad-spewing sidekick, Kamala Harris, to explain how the new numbers aren’t necessarily bad news.
With Joe off in the Middle East, not shaking hands with people, Kamala was left to host another pointless summit, selling the infrastructure bill that passed over a year ago.
Harris took the podium laughing because she’s literally an idiot. Before getting down to business that nobody cares about, she first addressed the most recent inflation numbers:
“Before I begin, I will address this month’s CPI report. There is no question that we still have work to do,” started Harris.
Inflation rose from 8.6% in May to 9.1% in June. What work have they been doing? When she says they still have to work, that indicates that they’ve already done some work and that’s clearly not the case.
“It is important to note that these numbers don’t fully reflect the most recent drop in gas prices,” Harris continued.
It is important to note that Kamala Harris didn’t actually give the numbers nor would she at any point during this bullshit.
“Average national gas prices have fallen every day for nearly 30 days. Since mid-June, Prices are down nearly 40 cents a gallon,” Harris said.
The average gas price right now is $4.72, which is a buck-fifty more than the average gas prices last July and $2.50 more that the average gas price when Trump was President in 2020.
“Fighting inflation s one of our administration’s top economic priorities,” said Harris.
Based on what? The only thing Biden has done since inflation started taking off benefits transgender weirdos and illegal aliens. I guess he’s also done some things on the baby-killing from, but certainly nothing to bring inflation down.
“Which is why we have taken action to lower the cost of living for Americans. Millions of Americans,” Harris said.
Again, where is this action? Inflation just went up so these actions ain’t working.
“We are releasing one million barrels of oil a day from the Strategic Petroleum Reserves to lower prices at the pump,” said Harris.
But they’re selling that oil to China, so it’s only lowering prices for Hunter Biden’s communist Chinese business partners.
“We have reduced high-speed Internet bills for millions of Americans,” Harris said.
Is she f*cking serious?
“President Joe Biden and I are always fighting to make sure that working families can get ahead and stay ahead,” Harris finished.
If 9.1% inflation is what it looks like when Joe and Kamaltoe are fighting for working families, what does it look like when they don’t? I actually know the answer to this one: If Joe Biden came into office and did literally nothing, we’d all be fine right now. It’s all that “fighting for working families” that has completely f*cked this country and made basic necessities too expensive for working people to afford.
This is Kamala Harris pissing on our shoes and telling us it’s raining but nobody’s buying it. Mostly because they know they can’t afford to buy much of anything anymore.
