Attorney General Merrick Garland appears to be positioning himself for prosecuting President Trump over the “storming of the Capitol” on January 6th.
This from thelibertydaily.com.
President Trump’s America First Movement cannot be stopped any time soon. And certainly not unless the Department of Justice becomes more creative than they already have demonstrated themselves to be.
Sure, the democrat-communist machine is seeking to stop the Trump America First Movement by way of extra-constitutional maneuverings and their behavior has become more desperate-feral-animal in nature, but they haven’t been able to do much more than encourage the movement as the size of the rallies seems anything but to be diminishing.
Let’s think of these past many months as an extended chess match. Below is a quick recall of several of the opposing moves:
- The January 6-related machinations, to include the selective two-tiered justice system arrests, the unconstitutional incarcerations, and the mass propaganda media-aided show trial, have been targeting President Trump for many months.
- President Trump has been conducting his Save America rallies which have been well received and widely attended–much to the chagrin of the democrat-communists.
- The January 6 Show Trial Committe continues to subpoena seemingly anyone who ever came into contact with President Trump, ever probing deeper and more ludicrously.
- Recently, details of a Trump Revenge to be released upon his resumption of the presidency were made public.
- Next, in an interview with NBC’s Lester Holt on Tuesday, AG Garland was pressed on whether Trump could be prosecuted over the events that transpired at the Capitol in 2021, a move he said threatened to “tear the country apart.”
Look, we pursue justice without fear or favor. We intend to hold everyone, anyone who was criminally responsible for the events surrounding Jan. 6, for any attempt to interfere with the lawful transfer of power from one administration to another, accountable. That’s what we do.
Note: The attorney general has previously been accused by democrats of dragging his feet regarding a potential prosecution of Trump, especially after a leaked memo, signed by him, seemed to discourage investigating political candidates during an election year.
President Trump has all but confirmed he will be running for president in 2024 and has repeatedly bashed the investigation into Jan. 6 as a political show trial.
The following from survivethenews.com.
Holt asked Garland:
So, if Donald Trump were to become a candidate for president again, that would not change your schedule or how you move forward or don’t move forward?

Garland had said last week when asked if Trump can be prosecuted:
No person is above the law in this country. There is nothing in the principles of prosecution… which prevent us from investigating anyone who is criminally responsible for an attempt to undo a democratic election.

Garland repeated himself:
I’ll say again that we will hold accountable anyone who is criminally responsible for attempting to interfere with the transfer—legitimate, lawful transfer of power from one administration to the next.
Next move: President Trump.
Where will this volley progression lead?
Any thoughts about what the next move in this chess match will be, Def-Con News readers?
