Back By Popular Demand, Body Cam Theater

First I want to say a few words for the original creator of Body Cam Theater. We all loved him, and we all miss him. He was our brother and friend. Even now 2 years later as I write this I am getting choked up, just thinking of him. I know others knew him far better than I did, but in some small way the man touched all our lives and I still miss him every day.

RIP our brother William Munny. I hope I can do you proud, no one can replace him, I will not try, but maybe we can all follow in his footsteps, even for a short time.

This shooting happened in Crescent City California on August 25, 2021. The reason I chose this video is first it shows what our men and women in blue face every day to protect us. Second, it is almost the one-year anniversary of this shooting. And third and I think the most important reason. Look how fast this guy moved once he decided to harm someone. He picked up a knife from the ground and closed on the officer in seconds. Would you have been quick enough to stop him?

I’m not sure I would. Although I would have my gun drawn already. I see a guy holding a knife on the street and I wouldn’t have been there, or I would have drawn my gun. If he approached me I would have been moving away from him. The Police were willing to walk into this, not me. I  would have just shot him and ended it right then and there and that is why  I am not a cop. I have great respect for them, and I know I would be a horrible cop.

Also from what I counted, I only watched this video twice, and the 2nd time was to find the point at which he chose to attack about 4:23 there were 6 Police near him, I counted about 12 shoots, and I only saw one hit. Maybe I missed some of the others. Regardless IMO he should have been dead at the scene before they cuffed him.

According to the Del Norte Sheriff Robert Anderson who was 38, attacked Police, and was shot. His wife who was at the scene said there was no reason to shoot him he was running to her, and they left him to die on the ground, because he was black, and would never have been shot if he had been white. I think the moral of the story is you play stupid games and win stupid prizes.

You decided.

As always I look forward to your comments, constructive criticism, and insight.
