During the Trump era, democrats told us that criticizing the press was a threat to democracy and endangered the lives of journalists. Illegitimate president Joe Biden tells us that Republicans are a threat to democracy because they embrace violence. In related but contradictory news, a democrat in Nevada was just arrested for stabbing a reporter to death. There’s no word on the condition of democracy after this attack.
This is Robert Telles the Clark County Public Administrator in Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s unclear who the woman is but it could be his wife or possibly porn actress Nautica Thorn.
This was Jeff German, a reporter for The Las Vegas Review-Journal:
German did a series of investigated reports on Telles about corruption and mismanagement in his office. One of those reports included an inappropriate relationship Telles was having with a female staffer. Telles rage-tweeted at German for exposing his scumbaggery.
Earlier this year, Telles lost the democratic primary and thus cannot be reelected in November. Telles certainly blamed German’s reporting for his loss. German was reportedly working on a another “blockbuster” piece concerning Telles’ corruption but he would never get a chance to publish it.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that German was stabbed to death outside of his home on Friday, with his body being discovered on Saturday. Police released a picture of the suspect and it’s pretty bizarre:
If you are trying to look incognito, that ain’t the right way.
Police also had a vehicle description of the murder suspect which was a maroon GMC Yukon Denali. Reporters covering the case couldn’t help but to notice that Telles drove a maroon GMC Yukon, which led to police executing a search warrant at his house on Wednesday.
Cops must have found some incriminating evidence because they arrested Telles on suspicion of murder. It probably didn’t take the sleuthing skills of Colombo to connect the dots on this one.
As an added bonus, Telles is an anti-gun nut with a complete lack of self-awareness:
The shooting in my hometown of El Paso is heartbreaking. There’s no reason these shootings should happen. Tragically, we will see needless violence like this unless we reject the hateful rhetoric, deal with mental health and enact some reasonable gun-control measures nationally.

Maybe the guy who just murdered a journalist isn’t the right person to be lecturing on gun control, needless violence, and hateful rhetoric.
Or mental health and reasonability. This has to be the worst murder plot ever hatched. Months after German cost him reelection, Telles, in a goofy attention-getting disguise, murdered the reporter in broad daylight, using his own personal vehicle.
This story blows apart the liberal narrative that calling the fake news “fake news” endangers the lives of journalists and that Republicans embrace political violence. Telles is a democrat who killed a reporter for exposing his corruption and ruining his political career.
I think what I’m trying to say is that the liberal media will do their best to ignore the hell out of this story because it exposes their corruption and threatens to ruin their political agenda.
