If a guy in a MAGA hat ran over and killed a liberal teen it would be big news. When a leftist loser ran over and killed a teenager for being a Republican in North Dakota, the liberal media ignored it like it was on Hunter Biden’s laptop. Meanwhile Joe Biden insists MAGA extremists are promoting political violence and are the biggest threat to democracy.
KWFR reports that 41-year-old Shannon Brandt has been arrested for running over and killing 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson in Foster County, North Dakota.
Apparently Brandt had been drinking and got into some kind of verbal argument with Ellingson in the early morning last Sunday. It must have involved some kind of exchange of names because Ellingson called his mother and asked if she knew Brandt. She said she did. Minutes later, Ellington called his mother again and said that Brandt was chasing him.
That chase led to an alley where Brandt ran over Ellington. Brandt left the scene, returned to call 911, and then left again before deputies arrived. First responders rushed Ellington to a local hospital but his injuries were too severe and he died.
The Foster County Sheriff’s deputies went to Brandt’s house, 12 minutes from the murder scene, and arrested Brandt.
While being interviewed, Brandt admitted that he intentionally ran over Ellington because of a “political dispute.” He also said that Ellington was part of a “Republican extremist group” which is why he killed him. Sounds like he was listening when Biden said MAGA Republicans are fascist threats to democracy.
Brandt was charged with vehicular homicide and DUI and given a $50,000 bail. Fox News reports that Brandt posted bail and is back on the streets.
Town Hall’s Mia Cantell reports that upon being released, Brandt erased his social media accounts:

I honestly do not understand why this guy wasn’t charged with first degree murder. He had time to consider his actions and decided to set off and run over and kill a teenager. He admitted he did it intentionally and that it was motived by politics. This should also be a hate crime.
To put this in perspective, James Alex Fields Jr. was charged with first-degree murder, 8 counts of malicious wounding, and 30 counts of hate crimes for driving his car into a crowd at the Unite the Right Rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, killing Heather Heyer. He was denied bail and was eventually convicted, where he was sentenced to life in prison plus 419 years. He’s never getting out.
What’s the difference here? In one case a white supremacist runs over and kills a woman and in the other a leftist runs over and kills a Republican. Oh, I think I just answered my own question. Things aren’t bad when the left does them.
The FBI classified the Charlottesville car attack as domestic terrorism. It’s why Joe Biden said he ran for president.
Speaking of Joe Biden, on September 1 he delivered his MAGA Hate Speech in which he accused Republicans of being extremists and threats to this country and 16 days later a leftist loser murdered a kid because he was a “Republican extremist.” It’s not hard to draw a direct line between these two things unless you’re in the liberal media in which case you are obligated to ignore the whole thing.
