When the Joe Biden-caused inflation sent gas prices through the roof earlier this year, the illegitimate president blamed Vladimir Putin and Republicans. When prices came down slightly over the summer, Biden took full credit for lowering them. Now that gas is on the rise again, Joe has a whole new list of culprits to blame that aren’t him.
First, let’s start with The Hill, who is working hard to deflect the blame for rising gas prices away from Joe Biden:
Rising gas prices: Is Hurricane Ian to blame?
The nation saw falling gas prices for 99 days straight over the summer, but now, gas prices have gone up 4 cents over the past week. And people are anxious that Hurricane Ian might be to blame.
If I’m reading this correctly, a Hurricane that has yet to make landfall in the United States is to blame for rising gas prices? How does that even work?
Out here in California, gas prices have risen for 25 straight days, with it going for over $5.00 a gallon at Costco, which is the cheapest place. With that in mind, The Hill is trying to say that a hurricane that hasn’t hit Florida yet is responsible for a month of rising gas prices in California.
Just in case people aren’t buying that, The Hill came up with another excuse to help out Old Joe:
Gas prices also rose the same day as the Federal Reserve announced another interest rate hike as part of an effort to ease inflation and keep the nation from entering a recession.
You see, it’s the Fed’s fault but don’t worry, while gas is going up, that’s a sign that inflation is coming down. What a complete load and also we are not on the verge of a recession, we’re in a full-blown recession.
While Joe sure appreciates the liberal media assist, he has has own new reason why gas is going up:

“The public is paying and it’s part of the affliction. Look, I’m many things simple: To the companies running gas stations and setting those prices at the pump, bring down prices you’re charging at the pump to reflect the cost you pay for the product. Do it now. Do it now. Not a month from now. Do it now,” said Biden.
According to Biden, the high cost of gas is because mom and pop gas station owners are ripping off the public. It has nothing to do with Biden killing American energy independence or Biden killing the economy, it’s small business owners who are struggling to stay afloat. What a complete asshole.
He’s also a complete idiot, who knows nothing of how commerce works. Gas stations charge the lowest possible price for gas and sometimes even lose money on it. Gas stations generally make their money off of snacks, beer, cigarettes, and lottery tickets. Gas is just something to get people in the door to buy other things.
They can’t charge outrageous prices for gas because the station across the street will undercut them and steal all their business. If they are charging $4.65 a gallon, that’s because that’s how much it costs them to buy it.
But what makes Joe Biden the asshole of the century is because he’s demanding that small independently-owned businesses slash their gas prices now, taking massive personal losses, just so his party doesn’t get their asses kicked in the midterms. And he’s doing this knowing full well that his shitty policies are the reason why gas is so damn expensive in the first place.
