When she’s not throwing things at her staff, democrat Amy Klobuchar likes to pass the time tossing around bullshit. The Minnesota Senator has suggested that democrats have the power to stop hurricanes in a bid to scare voters ahead of the midterms. She says if if the Republicans take the House, her party won’t be able to stop these naturally-occurring weather events.
Here’s Klobuchar on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, playing up the god-like powers of the democratic party:
“We just did something about climate change for the first time in decades. That’s why we have to win this as that hurricane bears down on Florida. We have to win in the midterms,” said Klobuchar.
There’s certainly quite a bit of flawed logic going on here, the biggest being that Klobuchar thinks democrats can stop hurricanes. If that were true, why are there hurricanes right now with democrats controlling the White House and both chambers of Congress? Why have there ever been hurricanes when the democrats were in complete control of the federal government?
The only answer I can come up with is that democrats played politics and allowed hurricanes to destroy property and kill people. Even Hitler wasn’t that evil.
Next is the problem of Klobuchar claiming democrats did something about climate change. Clearly this is another example of the ineffectiveness of democratic party rule. They did something to stop the hurricanes and yet, there is a hurricane bearing down on Florida as we speak. Why should anyone give the democrats another shot in the midterms when they can’t deliver on their promises?
All of this is compounded by the false claim that hurricanes are caused by climate change. Hurricanes existed long before Al Gore invented global warming in 2001. In fact, most of the devastating hurricanes, in terms of property damage and death, happened when the “experts” told us he planet was getting colder.
The reality of things is that democrats can’t stop hurricanes, hurricanes aren’t caused by climate change, and democrats haven’t done anything about climate change.
This is just another diversionary tactic from a democratic party that knows they’re in for an ass-whooping in the midterms. They can’t run on the economy, they can’t run on crime, and they can’t run on immigration, the 3 things Americans care most about. That leaves them with killing babies, reckless spending, and LGBT grooming of children, the 3 things Americans care the least about.
They’re desperately trying to put Donald Trump on the ballot because they think that’s a winner, but just in case, they want you to believe if Republicans win, the world will be destroyed by hurricanes.
Another reality here is that Joe Biden and the democrats being in charge has actually been devastating to this country. They have f*cked up everything they possibly could and they did it by stealing trillions of our tax dollars. People aren’t going to forget about that just because a nasty bitch from Minnesota says vote for her party and they will stop hurricanes.
