“Working Class” Joe Biden is going to have a hard time pretending he’s just an average guy like the rest of us. Since leaving office in 2017, the former VP has raked in a whopping $15.5 million. He was going to have a hard time before convicting voters he’s a working class guy because he’s a flip-flopping blithering idiot, but now that he’s one of those rich dudes that democrats want to kill it’ll be even more difficult. The big-ass mansion he just bought probably won’t help either.
NBC reports that Biden released his tax returns from the previous 2 years, showing that he and his wife Jill pulled in $11 million in 2017 and $4.5 million in 2018. Like the headline says: Holy shit! The most the Biden’s ever made in a year before that was $400,000, based on his VP salary and her professor salary. What’s that thing liberals are always saying about Trump using his office to enrich himself? Joe Biden is incompetent and completely worthless and yet he’s now a millionaire thanks to his black friend.
So what did Biden do to “earn” all of this money? Well, he wrote a book and for some reason people pay him to speak. I get that he’s funny, but you can catch a comedy show for much less than the $190,000 Drew University paid him for a lecture. Also, what the f*ck is Drew University?
In addition to this, Jill Biden makes $90,000 a year at Northern Virginia Community College. WTF? NVCC is a two-year school for dummies with a GED, why would they pay a professor 90k a year? I know this because I actually went to NVCC before I transferred to a real college. For the record, almost none of my credits transferred and I pretty much started over from scratch.
In the past 2 years the Bidens paid $3.7 million in taxes giving them a tax rate of about 23%. That’s the third lowest tax bracket and what middle class Americans pay. Bringing in almost $16 million in two years makes Biden rich and he should have paid at least 30%. If the democrats have their way that tax rate will be 50% for the rich to pay for socialism, but I’m sure they’ll have an exemption for wealthy democrats.
As far as charity goes, the Bidens gave away $1.2 million in 2017-2018, which sounds generous, but it’s not really. That represents around 7% of their income. They could have given away 30% and still wrote it off on their taxes, but didn’t. Also it looks like Biden gave a lot of this money to the Biden Foundation, which is pretty much just donating money to himself. This is something the Clintons perfected with donations to their family foundation.
As Fox News reports, Biden didn’t just sit on this windfall, he dropped some serious cash on a 5-bedroom 10-bathroom 12,000 square-foot Mansion in McClean, VA. 10 bathrooms? Well, I guess he is 76-years-old and probably can’t be more than a few steps away from a shitter, just in case.
Both the Clintons and Obamas turned their post-White House experiences into vast fortunes, but they were First Families. Joe Biden was a vice president and it’s beyond ridiculous that he raked in that much dough. It’s worse because of what scatterbrained boob he is. His story of the American dream is: fail, be incompetent, say stupid shit, and get rich without trying. If only this feat were replicable.
