How to say “we got nothing” without saying “we got nothing.” The January 6th Committee, investigating the “deadly insurrection” at the Capitol, has once again moved the release date of their final report. This time it’s after the midterms, which says it all. If there were anything of consequence, they’d want it out before the midterms to help the sinking democratic party.
Try as they might, democrats and RINO Liz Cheney haven’t been able to make American’s give a shit about some knuckleheads walking around the Capitol almost 2 years ago. They’ve told us that it was the moment democracy almost died and nobody cared. They lied and said there was death and carnage everywhere and nobody cared.
They also held primetime hearings that nobody watched in an attempt to make this a midterm election issue instead of Joe Biden’s destruction of this country. The polls came in and for some reason people care more about the cost of everything from gas to housing more than a silly protest.
Originally the committee was going to release their final report in September. Committee members Adam Schiff and Jamie Raskin assured us that it would be full of blockbuster proof that Donald Trump and Republican Members of Congress conspired to overthrow the government. Then, they pushed that release date to October for maximum influence on the midterms.
Now, according to Amazon, the report won’t come out until November 29, well after the ass-whooping the democrats are going to take in the midterms.
The question is: why? And the answer is, because it’s 880 pages of bullshit. If there was one thing that would be possibly damaging to the Republicans, it would be released before the midterms. If there was even a hint at something potentially troubling for Republicans, democrats know the liberal media would help them blow it out of proportion.
The J6 hearings have been a huge waste of time and a nothing burger buffet. The committee moving the release date of their final report is their way of saying that they literally have nothing.
In related news, J6 committee member Zoe Lofgren said they may not include the recent testimony of Virginia Thomas, Justice Clarence Thomas’ wife, in the last hearing. This seems huge because the committee had been insisting for almost a year that Virginia Thomas tried to overthrow the government by exerting her influence on her husband.
Thomas finally testified last week but the committee curiously didn’t record the deposition. Obviously they didn’t get anything of use from her and that’s probably connected to the fact that they will no longer be releasing the report before the midterms.
Another way we know they don’t have anything is because if they did they would have leaked it to the public. Hell, they would have just come out and said they had irrefutable proof that Trump and the Republicans did something. They would have referred it to the Justice Department for prosecution. None of that happened because they have nothing.
What this really says is that the J6 committee was hoping that they could convince the American public that MAGA Republicans tried to destroy democracy without any proof. When that didn’t happen, they decided to release the report after the midterms because their giant lie is actually an embarrassment and will further hurt the democrats.
