Mark Wahlberg Leaves California, Moves to Nevada to ‘Give My Kids a Better Life’

Hollywood superstar Mark Wahlberg has left California and moved his family to Nevada to give his kids “a better life.”

This from slaynews.com.

The actor and outspoken Catholic said:

That is the biggest challenge, every free moment that I have, I’m at home.

I moved to Nevada where after this gubernatorial election, hopefully, it will go to legislation and get a bill passed so we can get a tax credit for the state and build a state-of-the-art studio here and make this Hollywood 2.0.

I want to be able to work from home.

I moved to California many years ago to pursue acting and I’ve only made a couple of movies in the entire time that I was there.

So, to be able to give my kids a better life and follow and pursue their dreams whether it be my daughter as an equestrian, my son as a basketball player, my younger son as a golfer, this made a lot more sense for us.

To go and to hopefully build a studio as well as a shoe factory and a factory for Municipal.

So, we came here to just kind of give ourselves a new look, a fresh start for the kids, and there’s lots of opportunity here.

He added:

I’m really excited about the future.

Wahlberg and his wife, Rhea Durham, have four children.

Michael and Brendan are 16 and 14.

Grace is 12 years old and Ella is 19.

According to Yahoo:

In April, Wahlberg put his home in Los Angeles on the market for $87.5 million.

His family compound is located in the ritzy Beverly Park neighborhood.

The entrepreneur bought the six-acre property for $8.25 million in 2009 and commissioned architect Richard Landry to build the house which boasts 12 bedrooms and 20 bathrooms.

Final thoughts: I admit not knowing anything about Mark Wahlberg until reading this article and then briefly researching him. What interests me, in particular, is his goal of escaping California for his family as well as for himself.

Wahlberg’s dream of a Hollywood 2.0 is intriguing due to the possibility of other actors, actresses, and their families also escaping California and the radical liberalism that has moved too far to the left for them.

I wonder how diminished the population of blue states must become before the political leadership will be forced out. Additionally, I’m concerned that the escapees will arrive their new homes with enough sense not to bring with them the broken blue-state politics.

God speed to the demise of communism and globalism in America.
