Apparently Joe Biden has no access to information nor does he have anyone around him that can keep him up to date. That’s why when he went to New York on Thursday, Chuck Schumer had to clue him in on some tight Senate races. According to Chuckles the Clown democrats are “in danger” of losing several seats.
In more proof that democrats don’t know what the hell they are doing, QB Chuck Schumer called a huddle at the line of scrimmage so the other team could hear his play calling:
“That seat, we’re in danger in that seat. We’ll see,”said Schumer to Biden.
It’s not clear which Senate seat Schumer was talking about but nearby airhead Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand said the person occupying that seat is “a nice man” and “one of the only moderates” who “always works with us.”
My guess is Schumer is talking about Bullet Sponge’s husband Mark Kelly in Arizona. After trailing by 7 points a month ago, Republican challenger Blake McMaster is now in a dead heat with Kelly and is projected to beat the democrat.
One seat Schumer was clear about is the race between Republican Mahmet Oz and democrat John Fetterman
“It looks like the debate didn’t hurt us too much in Pennsylvania as of today. So that’s good,” Schumer said.
Really? The debate where Fetterman couldn’t form a thought or complete a sentence? That debate?
Not only did Pennsylvania voters finally get to see how unfit Fetterman is to serve, the line of the race has shifted dramatically. Dr. Oz was once trailing Fetterman by double-digits and is now just a point back. Real Clear Politics is predicting that come Election Day, Dr. Oz will win.
“I think we’re picking up steam in Nevada,” Schumer continued.
In Nevada, Republican challenger Adam Laxalt is trying to unseat incumbent democrat Senator Catherine Cortez Masto. Polls show a tight race with many favoring the Republican. There has been no steam picked up in this race.
And finally, Schumer had some bad news:
“The state where we’re going down, though, is Georgia. It’s hard to believe that they will go for Herschel Walker,” said Schumer.
That sounds a little racist, Chuck.
Schumer is however correct. Herschel Walker now leads incumbent Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock and is predicted to win.
Keep in mind, all of this information Schumer was passing to Biden was done so with the rosiest of optimism, trying to downplay how bad things really are for the democrats. Super-lefty The Cook Political Report has the democrats losing 3 seats and picking up zero. That would give Republicans a 53-47 majority and send Chuck Schumer back to Minority Leader where he belongs.
There is no optimism among democrats for keeping control of the House and there could be historic gains for the Republicans come November. In fact, Politico is reporting that democrats are already doing a midterms post mortem, asking, “Why do we suck?”
At over a thousand years of age, Joe Biden is a lame duck (illegitimate) president in that there’s no way he would or could run for reelection. With both chambers of Congress in Republican control, his batshit crazy agenda is as dead as his political future. Many are speculating that following the midterm ass-whooping, Biden will resign.
I sincerely hope not. Joe Biden with no power to f*ck things up any worse is an endless source of entertainment. Besides, if he quits, Kamala Harris becomes president and that’s somehow worse.
