A football player at the University of Virginia gunned down 3 of his teammates and injured 2 more using a handgun. Joe Biden never wants to miss an opportunity to exploit a tragedy but his brain is so fried he can’t even nail that. Illegitimate president Alzheimers says this shooting means we need to get weapons of war off the streets.
On Monday morning, Christopher Darnell Jones Jr., a student at UVA and member of the football team, killed 3 of his teammates on a bus as they returned from a field trip. Police haven’t provided a motive for the shooting but Jones is apparently a big piece of shit with an illegal gun charge, who should have been expelled but wasn’t.
After a 12-hour manhunt, cops finally brought Jones into custody. Nobody is reporting what type of gun he used in the murders, but he was charged with “three counts of second-degree murder and three counts of using a handgun in a felony” so it was definitely not an AR-15.
Enter Joe Biden: he and his insipid wife issued a statement regarding the shooting and let’s just say he was way off:
The President and First Lady are mourning with the University of Virginia community after yet another deadly shooting in America has taken the lives of three young people. Our deepest condolences are with the countless families, friends, and neighbors grieving for those killed as well as those injured in this senseless shooting.
So far it’s not too bad but check this out:
We need to enact an assault weapons ban to get weapons of war off America’s streets.
So an asshole kills 3 people and injures 2 with a handgun and that means we need to get weapons of war off the streets? Does Joe Biden think handguns are weapons of war?
Apparently yes. In fact, he has previously stated that 9mm handguns are super deadly:
“A .22 caliber bullet will lodge in the lungs and we can probably get it out maybe everyday and save a life. A 9mm bullet blows the lung out of the body,” said Biden.
And before that he had an even more bizarre assessment of the relatively weak 9mm round:
“Who in God’s name needs to have a 9mm pistol with 10 rounds in it?” Biden asked.
And this goes along with the theme that Biden thinks everything is an assault weapon. Last month when a teenager killed 5 people with a shotgun, something Biden owns, he issued this statement:
“We must pass an assault weapons ban. The American people support this commonsense action to get weapons of war off our streets,” wrote Biden.
So if I’m reading this correctly, every gun is a weapon of war and Biden demands a ban on all firearms. It’s a hard pass from me.
So we actually have 2 things going on here: Biden, in his dementiated state has let slip the democrats’ game plan to ban and confiscate all privately owned firearms and his mind is so gone he doesn’t realize that he’s spilled the beans.
BTW, the killer and the victims in the UVA shooting are black, so this story is about to be ignored by the liberal media. It doesn’t support their narrative that mass shooters are white right wing extremists armed with AR-15s
