DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is one of the most destructive and dishonest government officials in U.S. history.
This from survivethenews.com.
Under his watch, the U.S. logged in over 5 million illegal aliens crossing into the country through the open southern U.S. Border.
NOTE: Alejandro’s response to the crisis of record human and drug trafficking has been to consistently lie to We the People about the seriousness of the situation.
In fact, Mayorkas continues to lie about the open border with Mexico, insisting the border is secure—a complete lie.
But now Mayorkas may finally have to face up to this calculated man-made disaster.
House Republican Pat Fallon (R-TX) filed impeachment articles against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for:
“[H]igh crimes and misdemeanors.”
And the proceedings won’t begin soon enough.
FOX News reported:
Texas Republican Rep. Pat Fallon has filed impeachment articles against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, delivering on a promise he made last week before the 118th Congress was officially sworn in.
The articles of impeachment against Mayorkas for ‘high crimes and misdemeanors,’ known as House Resolution 8, were introduced by Fallon in the House on Monday and have been referred to the House Judiciary Committee.
Further from FOX News:
Last week, Fallon vowed to file impeachment articles against Mayorkas after the Congress was sworn in.
The effort from Republicans in the House is one of many that the new GOP majority will take as it works to fight the [Obiden Regime] on issues of immigration and the southern border crisis.
Last week in a statement to Fox News, Fallon said:
Since day one, Secretary Mayorkas’s policies have undermined law enforcement activities at our southern border.
From perjuring himself before Congress about maintaining operational control of the border to the infamous ‘whip-gate’ slander against our border patrol agents, Secretary Mayorkas has proven time and time again that he is unfit to lead the Department of Homeland Security.
Republicans previously announced:
[T]hey are seeking testimony from individuals who work in U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA):
Alejandro Mayorkas
Ur Jaddou, USCIS
Tae Johnson, ICE
Kerry E. Doyle, ICE
Blas Nunez-Neto, CBP
Chief Raul L. Ortiz, CBP
Jennifer Daskal, Office of the General Counsel
Adam Hunter, Office of Strategy, Policy, and Plan
Jen Easterly, CISA
Geoff Hale, CISA
Julia Treanor, CISA
Final thoughts: It is debatable whether this impeachment will lead to where it should eventually go.
The Obiden Regime is intent on bringing down the United States—Mayorkas is simply following directions.
With that said, unless this is merely an information collection exercise or perhaps an effort to demonstrate for We the People who in the Senate is part of America’s destruction as evidenced by their ‘No’ vote to impeach Mayorkas, shouldn’t Republicans begin this ordeal by impeaching Biden and Harris?
Afterall, the Senate will not vote for impeachment so unless the GOP has ulterior motives for this impeachment exercise, this course of action is likely an exercise in futility.
