Grand jury to decide fate of ‘hero’ who took out violent thug during Houston Taqueria robbery

In a troubling new development in the story of a man who has been hailed as a hero over a viral video of him shooting and killing a criminal who was robbing a Houston Mexican restaurant, the lesbian, George Soros-backed district attorney has empowered a grand jury to decide his fate, potentially setting him up to spend the rest of his life behind bars.

On January 6 at around 11:30 pm on a Thursday night, a vicious thug named Eric Eugene Washington didn’t realize that his time was numbered in minutes when he barged into the Ranchito #4 Taqueria eatery in southwest Houston, began waving around what would later be revealed to have been a fake gun and demanded that terrified customers hand over their wallets and other valuables as he menaced the diners who sought refuge under tables.

But one cool-headed customer wasn’t about to become Washington’s latest victim – he was a participant in a 2015 robbery in which the owner of a cellphone store was murdered – and the still unidentified man pulled out his own gun – a real one – and brought an abrupt ending to the 30-year-old’s already impressive criminal career, shooting him multiple times and then for good measure, busting off another cap into him as he lay in a puddle of his own blood, reportedly also throwing the rest of his coffee on the miscreant’s twitching corpse.

A full video version of the incident has been making the rounds on the internet and social media that unlike the sanitized one that was featured by news outlets, shows the actual footage of the foiled robbery – including the controversial final shot.

While the man received nearly unanimous praise as a heroic figure from social media users who like most decent Americans, are sick and tired of violent crime and who wasn’t charged by local police in what some would probably describe as waste disposal, Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg, who has been hailed by a local homosexual news outlet as “America’s top gay cop” and whose 2016 election may not have happened without a $500,000 ad buy by the bloodsucking Hungarian ghoul Soros isn’t going to allow the good deed of sending Washington to his great reward go unpunished.

Defense attorney Juan L. Guerra, Jr. who represents the “hero” who wishes to remain anonymous, said that he is cooperating with the grand jury and the district attorney’s office.

“In fear of his life and his friend’s life, my client acted to protect everyone in the restaurant. In Texas, a shooting is justified in self-defense, defense of others, and in defense of property. . . . We are confident that a Grand Jury will conclude that the shooting was justified under Texas Law. This event has been very traumatic, taking a human life is something he does not take lightly and will burden him for the rest of his life. For that reason, he wishes to remain anonymous. Due to the overwhelming coverage, we ask the media and the public to respect his privacy,” the lawyer said.

“Washington had been convicted in 2015 in connection to the murder of 52-year-old Hamid Waraich, the owner of a Boost Mobile cell phone store, who was fatally shot in the back during a robbery. He was paroled in 2021 after serving six years,” according to the Daily Mail.

Washington’s mother said that her dearly departed offspring was getting a bad rap.

He’s not the monster people picture him to be. He’s kind, he’s my son, he’s kind, he’s gentle, he never met a stranger. To know Eric is to love Eric. Um, he’s a good father. Amazing brother, uncle. That’s who Eric Washington is. And I know without a shadow of a doubt he would never hurt anyone,” Corine Goodman told Houston Fox News affiliate in an extended interview on Washington’s grand finale.

“What he did, I don’t condone. I don’t. He knew better. He never said anything or made me think he would go this route. But he went in there to rob, which is not good. He was raised better than that. And he robbed and he was headed out that door, and that man shot him four times, and I know when you do something wrong, there’s a chance you could die. I understand that, but for him to be shot four times in the back leaving, and when he falls down and he shoots him four more times?” Goodman said. “And then when you go in his pocket and get the gun and realize it’s a play gun and throw it and then you shoot him in the head? And then you go back and get something and pour it on him, and then on your way out the door you kick him — that don’t sit well with me. . . . I am hurt and I’m angry because of the way the situation, he just abused his body. He abused him, he was dead already, and that hurts. If you did shoot him, you stay there and you stand there and you talk to the law, you know?”

According to the website Crimegrade.org which tracks violent crime, the zip code where Ranchito #4 Taqueria is located drew a grade of F that suggests that it may be safer to go out in war-torn, third-world shitholes than in that particular area of Houston.

Proving that point is the sad fact that the restaurant was targeted AGAIN only days after Washington had his ticket to hell punched on the premises.

“When I got here, I looked at the video and I saw the man break into the games and the register,” owner Pedro Lopez, the owner told Houston news outlet ABC13 of surveillance video that showed the perp using what appeared to be a crowbar to gain entry into the restaurant where he stole money from three gaming machines and the cash register.

Lopez estimated that the thief was able to get away with several hundred dollars.

With the story receiving national coverage, the grand jury’s decision will likely be watched closely with it almost certain that the race card will be thrown down at some point to portray Washington as the real victim and provide an opening for leftists to go after concealed carry laws.
