The one-year mark of the conflict in Ukraine that began as a result of Ukraine corruption and brutality, the west recklessly pushing eastward toward Russia, and consequently Russia’s invasion of Ukraine to protect ethnic Russians as well as its own sovereignty was given the royal treatment in the American press, with the gravity of 9/11 and the import of the American revolution.
