For most of this country’s history, democrats enslaved, oppressed, and murdered black people. Then, sometime in the late 1960s/early 1970s, they convinced blacks that it was the Republicans, who had freed them from democrat servitude, who were the real racists. Ted Cruz just gave Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez a history lesson on her party’s racism and it was a beautiful truth-nuke that even Elon Musk appreciated.
A few days ago, the NAACP issued a ridiculous travel advisory saying it was unsafe for black people in Florida. The reason is because Governor Ron DeSantis doesn’t want kindergartners learning about gay sex, so it’s unclear how that compromises the safety of black people. Texas Senator Ted Cruz, like everyone with at least a half a brain, found this NAACP warning to be kind of on the bullshit side of things:

Not that I expected something from AOC, but so far nobody has been able to explain how the party of slavery, KKK, and Jim Crow suddenly because the champions of black people. I suspect it’s because there is no logical explanation.
