I was reading an article on Yahoo, I confess, I read some news there, not every day, but often enough. Maybe I should say too often because some days I want to rip someone a new ass. I do it to keep informed, Def-Con News is great (my first choice) but with only two writers Brian and Nathaniel, well, they could hardly be expected to keep us completely informed. Some days, even weeks it seems the news from the mainstream media never changes the same story is told over and over and over. Then other days they completely ignore what should be in the forefront. That was briefly touched upon in a comment last week. I forget the context but it has been noted that a few short years ago in the cosmic timeline, fifty companies reported on world events. Today that number is more like six. Six huge conglomerates control 90% of what you read, see, or are reported on.
Six companies control what events are worthy of being reported on. Those companies are AT&T, CBS, Comcast, Disney, Newscorp and Viacom. If that doesn’t scare the shit out of you you might want to check if you still have a pulse. For the vast majority of people in the United States if you control what they see whether through entertainment or the news you have them. You control them, they do not question the nature of their reality. If Lester Holt says we are winning the war in Ukraine then we are winning. If MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace reports joe biden is competent than most people will believe biden is the greatest Resident ever. And that is telling that at the latest poll shows 71% of Americans think the country is on the wrong track, and that’s NBC News. Since biden took office that number has only once been lower at 68%. That number should scare the Democrats to death, but it doesn’t. Most people will still vote for any democrat before they vote for a Republican. Most Americans (54%) according to a 2022 report are too stupid to read beyond a 6th grade reading level. This from Wikipedia here. “That means a majority of people lack the knowledge and skills needed to search, comprehend, and use continuous texts. Examples include editorials, news stories, brochures, and instructional materials.”
I was shocked. I was stunned. And what’s worse, these people are still allowed to vote. That sends shivers up my spine.
I went looking for some news, something I could write about, to report to you on. This journey started because I saw a picture of Maxine “Mad Max” Waters speaking on Artificial Intelligence. The thought popped into my head that if there was ever a case for A.I. it is Aunt Maxine. I read the story and I remembered joe saying to go to 30330 during a debate. Go visit a phone number? And then that… the dumbest man in politics put the dumbest woman in politics as the A.I. czar. Yep, that’s right, joe biden put Kamala Harris in charge of A.I.
I was already scared to death that my country is failing before my very eyes and then this. But the next sentence made my blood run cold.
“A Congressional AI Task Force has raised ethical and legal concerns related to algorithmic bias and discrimination, particularly if automated programs do not perform as intended or have adverse effects on members of protected classes.”
Protected classes? WTF is a protected class?
I know the answer. It is the LGBTQ+, the mentally ill, the criminals, it is the black, and brown, it is people who in large part that vote democrat.
We went from we just want equal rights, to protected classes in less then the span of a single Presidential term.
I’m going to close this here, because I honestly don’t know what else to say. I am genuinely, for the first time in my life, I am afraid for the existence of my country, of all people that want freedom who aren’t indoctrinated. I now believe I understand just a little how the Jewish people in 1933 Germany must have felt seeing Hitler elected to office. Seeing the Nazi Party come to power. And I believe this is no less a pivotal point in history.
Tomorrow will be July 4th. One of, if not the most important day in our history as a country. And we are watching it being pissed away. The blood, sweat, and tears of our heroes paid for our freedom. I’ll bet biden, and Harris won’t even acknowledge Independence Day. I do not know what it will take to open the eyes of those who who could change the course we are on, but we need to start holding them accountable somehow. Once upon a time they were only after me, white men, now the are coming after all biological women too. If they ever get our guns it will be every patriotic American.
