Woke Lit Has Destroyed Teen Interest in Reading—And Rightfully So from the List of Disgusting Books Made Available

Woke literature must be removed from the shelves—and the sooner the better.

Either this revolting material is shoving graphic pornography in front of 10-year-olds, or the available list is at best stomach churning and is destroying young people’s interest in reading.

Amid a cascade of devastating reports showing classroom test scores plummeting nationwide, U.S. students have also hit a record low in their leisure time: Casual reading has collapsed.

Only 14 percent of students say they read for fun every day, according to the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) report released recently, down 3 percentage points from 2020 and 13 since 2012. The report indicates 31 percent of students never or hardly ever read for fun.

We the People find it relieving that topics like ‘Gender Queer’ and the 500-plus ‘LGBTQ Memoirs’ and ‘Everything White Is Racist’ for books made available and being pushed by the pedocracy and publishing monopolies have not inspired a lifelong love of reading in children.

The first thing that pops up on the Simon and Schuster teen reading list is “LGBTQIA+ Books You Need to Read ASAP.”

‘I don’t want this crap in my home being read by my children’ is certainly a common thought from parents across the country.

More unsuitable material that should be pulled from the shelves.

Can you blame kids if they view all of this as simply ugly and hateful? It doesn’t require much common sense to see this as tediously didactic propaganda that feels worse than homework. The pleasure has been removed from reading.

This garbage is about as much fun as reading Marxist propaganda on the weekend.
