Whether it’s Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg having his bike hauled on a massive government SUV for brief photo ops (a popular fetish for green leaders that’s up there with the Kaiser’s pre=chopped woodpile or Putin’s pre-caught fish) or Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm trying to stage a publicity stunt for electric cars only to get the police called on her, their deceit demonstrates the extent they will go to perpetrate their con game.
Between stops, Granholm’s entourage at times had to grapple with the limitations of the present. Like when her caravan of EVs—including a luxury Cadillac Lyriq, a hefty Ford F-150, and an affordable Bolt electric utility vehicle—was planning to fast-charge in Grovetown, a suburb of Augusta, Georgia.
Her advance team realized there weren’t going to be enough plugs to go around. One of the station’s four chargers was broken, and others were occupied. So, an Energy Department staffer tried parking a nonelectric vehicle by one of those working chargers to reserve a spot for the approaching secretary of energy.
That did not go down well: a regular gas-powered car blocking the only free spot for a charger?
In fact, a family that was boxed out—on a sweltering day, with a baby in the vehicle—was so upset they decided to get the authorities involved: They called the police…
Energy Department staff scrambled to smooth over the situation, including sending other vehicles to slower chargers, until both the frustrated family and the secretary had room to charge.
A big thank you to the family with the baby for informing the police of the inappropriate actions of the “privileged.”
Behind the EV convoy facade were actual [gasoline driven] vehicles doing the dirty work that made the publicity stunt possible.
Green remains a hall of mirrors: a set of endless facades reflecting lies, myths, and fantasies—leading humanity and the planet back to a dark age [and] being driven by the nomenklatura.
Final thought: Electric travel is obviously not ready for prime time. This exercise in futility by The Regime only further proves our beloved country, the world will not remain in the twenty-first century without the dependence on fossil fuels and petrochemicals.
