The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has the “green light” to enter Gaza to eradicate the Islamic terrorists responsible for murdering 1,400+ Israelis in a terrorist attack last weekend.

Economy Minister Nir Barakat said:
[T]he IDF was given the green light to enter Gaza and their primary objective is to find all the terrorists and to wipe them out…even if it takes a year.
He said that he would not discuss the IDF’s specific plans on when it will enter Gaza, only that they have been given the authorization to enter and begin their ground offensive.
There are approximately 200 hostages being kept inside Gaza by terrorists from Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Those two terror groups are estimated to have approximately 50,000 fighters total.
Barakat said that Israel would:
[T]urn Hamas’ underground terrorist tunnel into the world’s biggest cemetery.
Part of the reason that the IDF is believed to have delayed their ground offensive into Gaza was because officials were concerned that Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed terrorist group based in Lebanon, was preparing to launch a full-scale attack on Israel’s northern border the moment that IDF went into Gaza—hoping to catch Israel off guard and lacking the necessary resources to respond.
Hezbollah, which is estimated to have approximately 20,000 soldiers, has approximately 150,000 rockets in its arsenal and has better training and equipment than Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
Countries that have told their citizens to quickly leave Lebanon include the United States, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Canada, France, Kuwait, Netherlands, Spain, Germany, and Australia.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) at the start of the week announced that residents of 28 towns along the Israel-Lebanon border needed to evacuate the area, including the following communities: Ghajar, Dishon, Kfar Yuval, Margaliot, Metula, Avivim, Dovev, Ma’ayan Baruch, Bara’m, Manara, Yiftach, Malkia, Misgav Am, Yir’on, Dafna, Arab al-Aramshe, Shlomi, Netu’a, Ya’ara, Shtula, Matat, Zari’t, Shomera, Betzet, Adamit, Rosh HaNikram, Hanita, and Kfar Giladi.
Israeli officials want to ensure they beef up their military capabilities in the north and are not missing any signals from their intelligence counterparts.
Israeli officials also want to make sure that they have their ducks in a row before launching the ground offensive since the IDF has not conducted an operation like this in a decade.
