POLICE SAY SHOOTER IS STILL ON THE RUN—22 dead, 60 Injured as Entire City in Maine on Lockdown, Police Hunt for Active Shooter

Police are holding a press conference at 11:30PM ET. They say Robert Card is still on the run and over 100 officers around the state are investigating this and searching for him.

They wouldn’t give any firm numbers on casualties and they label Robert Card as a person of interest, not a suspect.

The suspect is being identified from several accounts. One account said the name was said over the police scanner in Maine.

The entire city of Lewiston, Maine is being told to shelter in place as police hunt down a gunman who has killed at least 10 people and injured dozens more.

The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office has put the entire city on lockdown, telling people to shelter in place.

Maine State Police says it is responding to an active shooter situation in Lewiston.

A shelter in place order has been issued for the entire city.

Police are asking residents to stay home with their doors locked.

Investigators say they are at two locations right now.

The Lewiston Police Department says the two locations are Schemengees Bar and Grille and Sparetime Recreation.

Here’s a little more on what happened in Lewiston:

A bowling alley in Lewiston, Maine, came under fire Wednesday evening. There are additional reports of shots fired at a local bar and a Walmart distribution center.

More than ten people are dead and dozens more have been injured, law enforcement sources who have been briefed on the shooting confirmed to ABC News.

The suspect is not yet in custody.
