Gov. Newsom Says California Will Defy Fed Gov to Ally with China

Chinese election interference is no joke. It’s also not discussed very much. We know—thanks to a leaked report—how it worked in Canada.

This from frontpagemag.com.

The documents denote the Chinese Communist Party leadership in Beijing was:

[P]ressuring its consulates to create strategies to leverage politically [active] Chinese community members and associations within Canadian society.

Further:

CSIS [Center for Strategic and International Studies] also explained how Chinese diplomats conduct foreign interference operations in support of political candidates and elected officials. Tactics include undeclared cash donations to political campaigns or having business owners hire international Chinese students and ‘assign them to volunteer in electoral campaigns on a full-time basis.’

CSIS noted that Ms. Tong, who returned to China in July 2022, and former consul Wang Jin made ‘discreet and subtle efforts’ to encourage members of Chinese-Canadian organizations to rally votes for the Liberals and defeat Conservative candidates.

Is this happening in America? Obviously. China has spy consulates and secret police stations.

A handful of blocks away from police headquarters, federal court buildings, and the financial district where Wall Street’s brokers play with billions a day, sits a slice of Chinatown where the America Changle Association housed the secret Chinese police station which used its premises to coordinate with China’s Ministry of Public Security and to threaten opponents and fugitives from the brutal Communist regime.

At one America Changle Association event, [communist/globalist] Democrat politicians and representatives for Rep. Grace Meng were in attendance. Figures associated with the Fuzhou group were shown to have donated to Adams, Meng, as well as her father, Jimmy Meng, a [communist/globalist] Democrat state assemblyman who was sent to prison after soliciting an $80,000 bribe inside a fruit basket. Other recipients included Rep. Judy Chu, on whose behalf Chinese spy Fang Fang helped organize a town hall.

California is ground zero for this stuff. It’s just discussed in whispers. Here’s a whisper:

Martin Estrada, the U.S. attorney for the central district of California, said in a closed-door interview with the House Judiciary Committee on Oct. 24:

We’re the gateway to Asia. And we have the People’s Republic of China trying to influence our elections, trying to target some of our individuals.

California government officials have had heightened concerns about China’s interference in the state’s elections, according to a state official granted anonymity to discuss the sensitive topic.

Anonymously. Closed door. Why all the secrecy? We’ve had so many public discussions about Russian election interference, yet whispering about Chinese election interference can be done only in fear.

Further:

In the interview, Estrada did not elaborate further on China’s influence efforts, and a spokesperson for his office declined to comment for this story.

In July of 2022—a few months before Estrada was confirmed as U.S. attorney—a top U.S. counterintelligence agency warned state and local officials that the Chinese government was trying to persuade them to advocate for Beijing’s interests.

As reported:

The PRC understands U.S. state and local leaders enjoy a degree of independence from Washington and may seek to use them as proxies to advocate for national U.S. policies Beijing desires.

[I]ncluding improved U.S. economic cooperation with China, and reduced U.S. criticism of China’s policies towards Taiwan, Tibetans, Uyghurs, pro-democracy activists, and others.

And Gov. Newsom, being tipped as a potential presidential candidate, is playing the ultimate Manchurian candidate. He would be the second, if he were elected.

Newsom began his visit with a climate-themed discussion at the University of Hong Kong. He told the audience they ‘can rely on California,’ while addressing claims that the United States is not a reliable ally.

He said:

I want you to know, regardless of what happens nationally, sub-nationally, you have a partner in the state of California.

This is certainly not conspiracy material

when he talks this treason out loud.

After years of fuming about Russia, a state governor tells the enemy that California will be a reliable partner for the Communist regime no matter what the United States government does. ‘ a damn shame we don’t have a properly functioning Department of Justice.

Final thoughts: I’m thinking about how much Gavin Newsom and his antics remind me of The Joker, particularly the above picture.  Both are evil, both are power hungry, both are demented, and The Joker may have been treasonous too.
