Tragic: Palestinian Teen Kills 20-Year Old Israeli-American Soldier as She Patrols Border in Jerusalem’s Old City

How will the liberal media address this killing, other than to ignore it?

This from redstate.com.

The mass propaganda media will have a harder time finding nuance in this most recent tragedy: A 16-year-old Palestinian terrorist stabbed and killed a 20-year-old Israeli-American soldier, Sgt. Rose Ida Lubin, in Jerusalem’s Old City Monday morning. (Note: Some outlets are reporting that she was a “border police officer” and an “Israeli cop.”)

Sgt. Rose Ida Lubin, 20, was murdered near Herod’s Gate on Monday morning while patrolling the border.

The killer, from the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya, attacked Lubin and another Border Police officer.

Police fatally shot the attacker and arrested another person on suspicion of aiding him when they arrived at the scene of the attack.

The two wounded officers, both in their 20s, were treated by Magen David Adom paramedics, before they were rushed to Hadassah-University Medical Center in Jerusalem for treatment.

Former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman posted this video of the apparently thriving young woman, recorded by her cousin just a few days before her killing:

The attack took place at the main entry point used by Palestinians to enter Jerusalem.

The attack occurred near Damascus Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem, the main entry used by Palestinians and one of the most highly guarded streets in the city due to tension between Muslims and Jews in the area.

Herod’s Gate is one of the seven open Gates and connects the Muslim Quarter inside of the old city to the Palestinian neighborhood of Bab az-Zahra, situated just outside.

Lubin was originally from Dunwoody, Georgia, and went to Israel in 2021 and became a soldier. She lived in southern Israel in the Kibbutz Sa’ad, a religious community. Her friend Shira P. mourned her loss:

‘She was telling me how proud she was to serve for Israel and she is finally fulfilling her dream,’ she said. ‘Rose did more than many and inspired so many people in her 20 years of life. She is a true inspiration and motivation for us all. May she rest in peace.’

Kibbutz Sa’ad was also in the line of fire of the October 7 Hamas attacks but didn’t take the brunt of the carnage like nearby Kfar Aza, which sustained heavy losses.

In the aftermath, one resident said:

Our own community was in shock, but we were grateful to be alive. That was a miracle.

The only thing separating us from Kfar Aza is one road, and everything on the other side was wiped out.

Lubin reportedly “bravely defended” the kibbutz during the assault.

Teri Christoph reported on November 1, even before this latest killing:

…the tone-deaf White House thought this was the perfect time to announce their new initiative to fight Islamophobia…

Because Islamophobia is definitely the sentiment that’s fueling the antisemitic, pro-Hamas rage mobs across the country.

The mass propaganda media is reporting on fabricated anti-moslem stories but not actual antisemitism news. This tragedy may not get reported beyond outlets such as Def-Con News.

All give some; some give all.

RIP, Rose Ida Lubin.
