Prediction: Israel Will Go After Iran and Its Proxies

Netanyahu said last week the war that started with the Hamas attacks on Israel is a battle against an “axis of evil” led by Iran and “the three H’s,” Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis.

This from newsmax.com.

Retired U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Blaine Holt said on Newsmax Sunday:

The possibility of Iran obtaining nuclear weapons is an existential threat to Israel, and there is no doubt it will go after Iran and its proxies Hezbollah and the Houthis once the fight to eliminate Hamas winds down.

Holt said on Newsmax’s Wake Up America:

There is no question in anybody’s mind militarily, at least reasonable military thinkers who understand that that is an existential threat to Israel.

We talk about billions of dollars going into the hands of Iran, and maybe we’ll get some flimsy nuclear deal that delays things.

Further:

[Israel] can’t survive in a world where [Iran] has nuclear weapons, so they’re going to get after Iran as they approach that goal.

Holt explained:

For South Africa to be the one that wages this, that’s pretty rich coming from a country that takes farms away from people just because of the color of their skin, and in some cases, just outright kills them if there’s about to be a protest.

Meanwhile, get ready because the Palestinians across Europe and even last night in D.C. around the White House, they’re getting closer and closer to mass violence and protests that turn into riots.

Meanwhile, the United States and its allies have been carrying out strikes against Houthi locations in Yemen in response to the attacks on ships in the Red Sea, and Holt agreed that the strikes will slow them down.

However, such “tit-for-tat responses” are troublesome because the United States isn’t preparing its forces with what is needed for them to defend themselves, the nation, and the shipping lanes.

Holt continued:

We hear from the White House, ‘If you do this again, Yemen, we may authorize more strikes.’

Our commanders need to have the orders in hand that if certain conditions come about they don’t need to hear from the White House directly.

Further:

We tried that in Vietnam, and we saw what the result was. You don’t target from the Oval Office.

You give it to competent military people and say, fix this piracy problem and resume shipping in the Red Sea, and then you let competent military officers take over from there.
