Donald Trump’s decisive victory in the 2024 presidential election was a resounding mandate to fix what the Left has destroyed over many years of corruption: America’s election integrity.
This from thepatriotjournal.com.
An inability to trust the system with which We the People select our leaders, has left each of us doubting whether our vote even matters. Thankfully, Trump is making good on his promise to bring common sense back to the ballot box.
And Trump’s victory this past election was no small feat. It came despite a media establishment working overtime to smear him and a communist/globalist crime syndicate determined to stack the deck with bizarre and shady election rules and machinations. And Trump’s win is a clear signal from Americans across the political spectrum:
We want elections that are fair, transparent,
and reflect the will of the people—not the whims
of unelected bureaucrats or power-hungry elites.
One of the key points of Trump’s campaign was his promise to restore integrity to the voting process, and now, as president-elect, he is wasting no time making his intentions clear.
From Newsweek:
President-elect Donald Trump has announced a sweeping plan to change the way U.S. elections are carried out.
‘We’re gonna do things that have been really needed for a long time,’ he said.
‘And we are gonna look at elections. We want to have paper ballots, one-day voting, voter ID, and proof of citizenship.’
Trump is not mincing words, and neither should we. These reforms are long overdue. The idea of voter ID, for example, is supported by a strong majority of Americans, yet those on the Left with the unpopular communist/globalist agenda feign contempt that asking someone to prove they are who they say they are is akin to stomping on the Bill of Rights. (Which the Left blatantly does.)
And paper ballots? They are the gold standard in election integrity. Technology can be manipulated, but a piece of paper filled out in person? Good luck hacking that.
Trump has also taken aim at California’s
recent decision to prohibit local governments
from requiring voter ID at polling stations.
From Newsweek:
Trump said, ‘In California they just passed a law that you’re not even allowed to ask a voter for voter ID. Think of that.
If you ask a voter for their voter ID, you’ve committed a crime. We’re gonna get the whole country straightened out.’
Requiring ID to vote has been criminalized! How does that make any sense? It is built-in fraud for California voters, which is un-American. People are required to have an ID to drive, to buy alcohol, and to even get into a government building, but casting a vote in a California election is the exception to every other rule in society.
What Trump is proposing is not radical—it is basic common sense. Paper ballots ensure accuracy. One-day voting simplifies the process and reduces the risk of ballots mysteriously appearing days or weeks after an election. Voter ID guarantees the person voting is actually eligible to do so. And proof of citizenship? That is a no-brainer.
An honest election is a requirement of a free country. Rigged elections and fraud at the ballot box have moved our beloved country to the edge of tyranny.
Let us be honest: the party of the Left (and perhaps the right too) has been stealing national elections at least since JFK’s assumption of office. And since BHO—who may have stolen his first presidential election but certainly stole his second—confidence has been further eroded. The 2020 election too was an obvious steal that will be proven beyond all doubt following Trump’s return to the White House. Then the 2022 elections will be shown for what they were: a plague of ballot harvesting, mail-in ballot mishandling, and outright fraud. Yes, the communist/globalist crime syndicate pushed these illegal practices under the guise of “accessibility,” all the while demonstrating the fraud and strengthening our doubt in the system.
Trump’s plans are bound to send liberals into a tailspin, and we all know why. The Left thrives on chaos and confusion, and their playbook depends on muddying the waters just enough to gain an edge. With their communist/globalist nonsensical ideas, they are unelectable. Election fraud for them is a bitter but necessary tool. Fair and transparent elections are a threat to their entire operation. If elections are truly secure, the Left loses their ability to manipulate the system and weaponize it against candidates like Trump.
But Americans are waking up. Trump’s landslide victory proves that people are fed up with being told to accept an obviously broken system. The Obiden Regime may have tried to silence these concerns, but they only succeeded in amplifying them.
Trump’s election reforms are not just about cleaning up the mess created by Barack Hussein Obama and his puppet Dementia Joe—they are about ensuring every American, regardless of political affiliation, can trust in the integrity of our elections. This is something every voter should get behind, even if the liberal elites cannot see past their own partisan interests.
If Trump’s early actions are any indication, the next four years will be about putting America back on track—not just in policy, but in restoring faith in the very foundation of our Constitutional Republic.
Final thoughts: Federal law trumps state law. If California chooses to elect their mayors and dog catchers without requiring ID, so be it. But the state’s votes should not be counted in the national election, and the U.S. Senators and U.S. House Representatives they elect without requiring voter ID should not be allowed to take their seats in D.C.
