Trump Named as Time Magazine’s ‘Person of the Year’

This article IS NOT about a far-Left biased rag of a magazine, although for what is likely only the second time in decades, they made a correct choice in selecting their Person of the Year.

Trump was Time’s Person of the Year in 2016—the year he first won the White House.

This from slaynews.com.

The president-elect beat several high-profile names on the shortlist, including the Princess of Wales and Elon Musk. This recognition comes after Trump survived two assassination attempts in recent months.

He will also celebrate by ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange later.

President-elect Donald Trump has also faced unprecedented court battles after being targeted by the communist/globalist crime syndicate lawfare campaign.

Despite the astonishing levels of adversity he has faced this year, he went on to win re-election in a historic landslide victory last month.

 – [He] won the popular vote in last month’s election and claimed all seven swing states. His return to the White House also makes Trump only the second president in history to serve two non-consecutive terms,

 – He has vowed sweeping changes and promised to undo much of the damage caused by the [Left] over the past four years, and

 – Since his victory, Trump has been making appointments to his forthcoming administration.

Trump’s second (actually third) election win is “history-making in multiple ways,” Time said when it announced the shortlist.

Trump will be the “oldest president in US history” entering office at the age of 78 years and seven months.

Right as they were with this choice, Time could not resist taking a dig at Trump.

The magazine described Trump as the

first convicted felon to be elected president.

Time was referring to Trump’s sham conviction in the communist/globalist lawfare “hush money” case.

President Trump had some stiff competition for this Person-of-the-Year selection:

 – The Princess of Wales, who has been undergoing cancer treatment, ‘stirred a conversation about privacy and health for public figures,’ Time said. Kate has now returned to public duties. Recently, she attended her annual Christmas carol service with her family at Westminster Abbey.

 – Musk—the billionaire behind Tesla and SpaceX—has ‘long been an innovative disrupter,’ Time said on its shortlist. He has also become politically active this year, supporting Trump in his bid to retain the White House. Musk reportedly spent more than a quarter of a billion dollars in the process.

 – Others on the shortlist included Yulia Navalnaya, whose husband, the Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, died in February.

 – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was also [on] Time’s 10-person shortlist, as was podcaster Joe Rogan and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

God speed to President Trump and to the Tke Back of our Constitutional Republic.
