Officials in President Donald Trump’s incoming administration are warning that those people in the federal government who are not putting the American people first should have a lot to fear.

During a segment on Fox News, the steps Trump plans to take on Day One. They also noted the challenges he expects to face as he takes office.
Leavitt, who will serve as Trump’s incoming White House press secretary, spoke about the significant changes Trump plans to implement immediately.
She said:
President Trump isn’t even back in the Oval Office yet, and we’re already seeing the Trump Effect, small business optimism.
Further:
President Trump is already acting as the president.
He’s already taking steps to make
real change for the American people.
Emphasizing the importance of Trump’s executive orders, Leavitt continued:
On day one, yes, he will use the power of his pen to deliver on many of the promises he made to the American people on the campaign trail, to secure the southern border, to fast track permits for fracking, for drilling, and to also take executive action to stop some of the transgender insanity that we have seen take over this country.
Trump’s legal counsel, Alina Habba, highlighted the ongoing legal efforts to ensure Trump’s vision can take shape upon his return to office. She pointed out the president-elect is already making moves to tackle issues such as TikTok.
She noted, specifically, TikTok and its links to the Chinese Communist Party have been a national security concern.
Habba said:
We’ve had, just recently an amicus brief filed against what he’s doing with TikTok, because President Trump believes he can solve it in a way that will help and benefit Americans and keep TikTok regulated so that we can maintain it.
She also discussed the importance of stopping the Biden administration’s last-minute actions, such as the potential sell-off of border wall materials, which Trump and his team successfully fought against in court.
Habba made it clear that Trump’s administration will swiftly reverse many of the disruptive policies of the outgoing regime.
She stated:
We have red states that are stepping up and putting American-first policies, Trump policies ahead of us, getting in and protecting the incoming administration.
Further:
We have people on the hill,
working on that, and we’re ready for action.
And:
Like Karoline said, day one, we’re going to be taking serious action immediately, executive orders in order to make sure that we correct, frankly, what they disrupted, and get America back on track immediately.
NOTE: A significant challenge for the incoming administration will be addressing the looming debt ceiling crisis and dealing with the reluctance of the workforce to return to their offices.
Habba touched on these issues, stressing the importance of cleaning up the mess left by the outgoing regime.
She said:
We have to clean up a lot of the mess, and that includes some of the DEI hires, some of the ridiculous decisions that were made, and putting people in that maybe didn’t have the merit to be in the administration.
She also discussed the immediate need for tax reform and fiscal responsibility.
We’ve got a president that just spent, what was it, 50 billion on the Amazon he’s sending money out like it’s growing on trees in the back in the South Lawn of the White House.
Further:
We need tax reforms. We need a lot of things that have to be done very quickly so that they can effectuate some change when President Trump is in there and help the American people.
Jason Chaffetz raised concerns about the mounting fiscal pressures under The Obiden Regime, particularly with the spending spree in its final days in office.
Habba responded by highlighting the steps that Trump will take to fight back against unnecessary spending…particularly, Trump wants to tackle foreign aid and unfair trade practices.
She said:
We’ve got to look at tariffs.
Further:
We’ve got to look at some of the things that President Trump is going to do to make sure that America is not second, third, fourth, but we’re first because people want to trade with this country, but it has to be fair.
Habba also emphasized the unity emerging in Washington, with a growing fear among politicians as Trump prepares to take the reins again.
She said:
I think we’re seeing real unity in Washington recently, and also fear, probably because of his administration, the people he’s put in, and the fact that they know that you’re going to be held accountable if you’re going to be messing around with American people’s money.
Further:
If you’ve been messing around and taking money
from our government, which is taxpayer dollars,
you’re not going to be able to do it anymore.
As the conversation turned to global relations, Chaffetz remarked on the shift in respect and fear toward the United States under Trump’s leadership, especially as America’s enemies fear him and allies respect his strength.
Habba echoed this sentiment and noted:
[T]he international community is already
responding positively to Trump’s return.
In closing, Chaffetz praised Trump’s influence, noting that even though he has not yet been sworn in, the world is already taking notice.
He said:
It is amazing how much President Trump has been able to do just since the election.
Further:
He’s not even sworn in yet, and yet the world is looking. I think our enemies fear us, and I think our allies respect us now, and that’s a huge sea change from where we’ve been.
With his team already mobilized and clear plans in place, Trump is ready to return to office and make swift changes aimed at restoring American strength.
The top of Trump’s agenda is addressing national security concerns and promoting fiscal responsibility.
